On November 4, we need to elect someone with a cool head and a reasonable understanding of human nature. That doesn't sound like John McCain. Many years ago, McCain served his country honorably but his time has passed.
Barack Obama has a way of connecting to people that is real and that inspires. That's exactly what we need in these dangerous and troubled times.

Honestly, that's how stupid it is to blame him for racism. You sound exactly like the Bush administration.

Carolyn is incapable of understanding the obvious.
In reality, John McCain doesn't care, or he would have done everything within his power (he and Palin) to speak out against the hate and intolerance they have witnessed at their rallies. Neither has done so.

Posted by Judith at October 28, 2008 04:32 AMCarolyn, the problem arises from creating an atmosphere of anger and resentment that define Obama as a terrorist and his supporters are not real Americans. This is something the campaign can influence and why I ask the question I asked.
Posted by Mary at October 28, 2008 08:00 AMMcCain's campaign has obviously fanned the flames of hatred, no doubt about it. But the two racist boneheads were arraigned a while ago. I wonder why the news about their plot is being released at this time.

The article says they were arrested on Friday the 24th. No time was given. Arraignments are AFTER the arrest. It may be true that the INDICTMENTS were issued awhile ago, but until there is an arrest, there is no arraignment.
