That's why it's important not give the presidency to crazed, hate-filled psychopaths. Like Bush and Cheney.
Lawsuits will be brought claiming these proposed regs violate the underlying law. The courts may invalidate some of them, but the courts are run by Bush judges and will be for decades.
After you've "recovered" from giving to candidates, you can start back with contributions to Natural Resources Defense Council and others who stand up for the environment in court.
Obama can reverse these regs over time, but Bush can do plenty of damage in his final three months. This is just another problem with the lame duck presidency our constitution creates.
And for even greater outrage, wait for President Cheney's final "pardons" in the last week of Bushco!
