To me, the true test of Obama's presidency will be if he can end this cycle of war that was only briefly paused by Jimmy Carter.

As much as I agree with your point though, paradox, according to the CIA World Factbook (not a great source, I know) the U.S. is no where near the top of the world in military spending as percent of GDP. We're like 28th.
