Comments: Iraqi Journalist Tortured, Turned Over To Americans?

But we don't torture. Just read Glenn Greenwald's post over at Salon and the rule of law in this country now apparently exists only for the common folk. We must begin to demand from Obama and the new administration that they appoint a special prosecutor to bring Bush and the rest of the bastards to answer for their crimes, Only then might we get our lost respect back.

No sympathy here for any fool that would assault the President.

It really was not an assault. It was a well deserved insult to our little king.

if there is any torture, rest assured it will be the decision of privates or corporals. A couple "bad apples". No direction from higher ups at all.

Well, excuse me. Bush said, during the incident, in so many words, that the journalist had just expressed is feelings in the new Democratic Country, and wasn't it just wonderful.

As much as I hate bush and everythng he stands for, what would you expect would happen to the guy?

Although anything after the initial reaction beyond him getting fired would/is wrong.

I think calling Bush a "dog" is offensive to dogs. And it doesn't bode well for the treatment of dogs in Iraqi culture.

Dogs died searching for survivors in the WTC rubble after 9/11. Humans abandoned the search and invaded Iraq.

Show some respect for our canine companions.
