do war crimes apply to every other country but us? i'm sure if a leader of (insert country here) engaged in the authorization of torture and rendition, he/ she would be in front of the hague within months. how is it different with our leaders? does international law apply to everyone but us? someone please explain...

American exceptionalism. Cheney/Bush proved that we don't have to follow laws if we don't want to. Fuckers.

Nope. Israel is allowed to commit all the war crimes it wants any time it wants as openly as it wants.

gwb is the first president who never travelled out of the country before being elected. now, he has a better reason to remain in conus... if he leaves, he would undoubtedly be arrested for war crimes... doesn't extradition laws apply, cuz i remember rumsfeld has a warrant too, no? i may be mistaken, but i remember that he was served but remains in the states...
shirin: i don't know enuff but news here shows that israel is losing credibility by leaps and bounds. amazing the things exposed once you leave the homeland.
