Comments: The State of Pakistan - Part 2: Rural Poverty

eriposte:

Great article. It clearly shows the benefit of having a secular democracy like in India v/s a Religious government with frequent dictotorship as in Pakistan. In spite of huge problems with population, illeteracy and so on, after becoming independant from British rule, India is on verge of becoming an economic power. However, born at the same time as India, Pakistan is on a verge of becoming a failed state.

The Pakistani policy of festering terrorist to send them to bother India has worked upto certain degree. Now the same terrorists have started fighting against Pakistan and have succeeded in capturing Swat valley area from Pakistan. It is matter of time before Pakistan becomes what Afghanistan was under Taliban.

It is in interest of the world to stop this as Taliban take over of Pakistan is more serious because of Nuclear weapons falling in the hands of Taliban.

Good one eriposte. Jinnah fought Gandhi so much and did not hesitate to shed blood to create this sorry ass country that everybody in the world is taking heat from it. I hope this was not his vision for Pakistan. The only thing I can say is Thanks Jinnah for taking some of the lunatics out of India.
