Doin' great until the last line there. It's a huge jump from dusting unfriendly foreign nationals with little to no oversight, much less public exposure, to asserting those same elements whacked an incumbent 2-term Senator.
Not that I doubt that sort of thing, there's just a burden of plausible proof . .

This is farcical DB. Next, you're going to say JFK was felled by a group of these fellas in Dallas.
Posted by peter at March 11, 2009 08:13 PMMaybe you want to throw Gov. Carnahan and son with that Wellstone line too?
Posted by peter at March 11, 2009 08:16 PMInteresting that Hersh mentions this in Minnesota since that is where "assassinated" Democrat Paul Wellstone was from. Wonder if he was making a statement inside of a statement?
Posted by Smurf at March 11, 2009 10:29 PMWell, that would take care of the Franken problem.
John F. Kennedy
Bobby Kennedy
John Kennedy Jr.
Martin Luther King
Mel Carnahan
J. Litton
Paul Wellston
and a host of others.
All killed by 'accidents' or some crazy guy acting alone. Sure.
Posted by Judith at March 11, 2009 10:35 PMAh Judith "rises" to the occasion.........Maybe we could say the "plumbers" were trying to get rid of Nixon too.
Posted by peter at March 12, 2009 04:04 AMA good conspiracy is difficult to unravel.
Posted by mike at March 12, 2009 08:13 AMAnybody still believe the FBI story of how only one government scientist was resonsible for the anthrax attacks after 9/11?
