O'Reilly likes to say, "destroys fetuses for just about any reason right up until the birth date for $5,000."
This from a man who is paid 9 million pieces of silver every year for no better purpose than inflating his bloated sense of self and advancing the goals of hatred, ignorance and division; for the betterment of his plutocratic masters. Do I smell a Worst Person in the World coming?
To quote Daffy Duck, That's deshpicable! From his statement, it's clear that "No Spin" O'Reilley does NOT worry that there may be a Judgment Day awaiting him. If only there were!
Posted by DeminNewJ at June 1, 2009 04:04 AMDoes this mean that if Bush or Limbaugh get knocked off, we can accuse all of Huffington Post and the people on here of being accomplices?
Obama wants woman to have abortions? I wish Obama's momma had an abortion.

Posted by onar at June 1, 2009 05:57 AMThe Fox/Rushbo/ShitRadio Noise Machine is intentionally fomenting right wing domestic terror as another "price" of electing a Dem, that's becoming quite clear. Right wing domestic terror (performed by conservative white males) spiked under Clinton, and the Noise Machine and hate spewing right-wing internet cesspools were just in the fetal stage at that point.
It will be far, far worse this time around, and FOX will lovingly cover every incident, always (of course) with the hollow hand-wringing mouthing of "outrage" over the latest right wing terror operation, just like the MO of "Operation Rescue".
The question is will there be ANY discussion of the reckless fomenting of right wing domestic terror by the Conservative Noise Machine, and will there be hearings and new legislation if the FBI/DOJ says it needs it to better monitor domestic right wing terrorists. These domestic terrorists are now much better organized and in much better position to communicate with each other than in the 90s.
TLC should archive and document any commenter who expresses satisfaction and support for right wing terrorists, there are already reports that the Tiller murderer was an internet commenter who made clear his support for murder of abortion doctors. These nuts are all over the internet, as we well know. Their cesspools are yet another stimulus for their illegal actions.
We bent over backwards for bipartisan law enforcement legislation after the 9/11 muslim terror operation. We have now had a spate of domestic terror activities against demonic lib'ruls carried out by conservative gun worshipping white males. Will Congress even notice?
It appears likely that the only course lib'ruls can follow is to start arming themselves, just like the state/federal governments and Supreme Court have permitted (and encouraged) the crazed rightwingers to do. The handwriting has been on the wall on this point for a long time and it's probably time to start reading it. A complete victory for the gun manufacterers and NRA, waahoooo!!
What a country of shit. The "conservative" movement is a great plague and we're just at the locusts stage.....
Posted by euzoius at June 1, 2009 05:58 AMI wish Obama's momma had an abortion.
See Wanda, that's why you and yours are such loathsome hypocrites. You "wish" for people to have abortions. You "wish" for people to be dead. Pro-choice people just want women to have the choice and to have a safe, secure environment within which to make that choice.
Have a great day.

Who murdered who here?
Ye old judge not me, yet I shall judge thee hypocrisy, one more pathology of the morally reprobate left.
Right, and if the murdered really believed he was in his rights to be judge, jury and executioner of Dr. Tiller he would have stood there and dealt with the authorities instead of running away like the pathetic belly crawling lowlife scum he is.
The utter lack of selfawareness on the part of people like onar never ceases to amaze.
Posted by snark at June 1, 2009 06:07 AMI'm still waiting for my check from Obama in return for my agreement to stop reporting montly U.S. casualties in the Middle East. I don't know how much longer the left will put up with Obama's senseless bombing of innocent Pakistanis.
Posted by Keith O at June 1, 2009 06:09 AMYes, snark, these wingnuts "oppose" abortion while "wishing" that hated political opponents had been aborted. Cognitive dissonance much?
And we're the hypocrites, of course.

You didn't see my previous stint when I wished Limbaugh's kidneys failed? Obama thought it was funny.
Obama thought it was funny because that was the intent. It was a joke. He laughed a lot at himself that night too.
Read the Huffington Post more often. I wasn't joking. I'm like the rest on the left, more intolerant than the religious fundies.

Posted by snark at June 1, 2009 06:59 AMBy ALL the Gods and Goddesses! These trolls seem to have a new and more repellent stench than our usual crop. I don't know if I could accuse Manape of this kind of vitriol. It makes me wonder how many of them have been assigned to monitor the left-wing blogs: and by whom.
I'm not sure, and that's a shame by itself, that we need to start "arming" ourselves as euzo sugests. Most of these cockroaches making noxious noises are of the cowardly, O'Reilley type. It is sort of like opening the refrigerator and smelling meat gone very bad.
Posted by DeminNewJ at June 1, 2009 07:14 AMHmm. I guess the DHS report on right wing terrorism was correct. And the usual suspects are supporting murder and terrorism. But we already knew that.
Posted by Twinky P* at June 1, 2009 07:16 AMIt makes me wonder how many of them have been assigned to monitor the left-wing blogs: and by whom.
Actually, some wingnut wuss decided that since Obama's army had been swarming over wingnut sites with icky comments, Breitbart sent out the flying monkeys to bother left wing comments. Funny, because they were already doing that. Funnier, since wingnut sites don't allow commenting, or when they do, they just delete comments they don't like. In fact, peter admitted to reading Breitblart, so I'm sure he's on the payroll. Oh wait, they don't get paid. They're stupid for nuttin'!

The same pro-choice people that support banning trans-fats? The same pro-choice people that won't allow pepole to smoke in their own domecile? The same pro-choice people that support coerced retirement savings and health insurance? etc. ect.
I don't expect much consistency from leftists. This is the same group of people that believe restaurants should be forced to display health facts, but sexual partners should not be forced to display health facts (a list of STDs if any).
Please, you hate freedom as much as the right. It's just different freedoms that you hate.

Right, because if you are "pro-choice" on any one thing you must be an unfettered libertarian or you're a total hypocrite. Bone head. What a tired retort.
I don't expect much consistency from leftists.
A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds. - Emerson.

You can't do honest cost-benefit analysis by only considering costs. If you only consider costs your conclusion will be to live in a bubble your entire life. I feel sorry for you if you never take risks.
Posted by Objectivity at June 1, 2009 08:27 AMGod, what a burden it must be on a (deranged) wingnut mind to scurry around for the "lib'rul hypocrisy!" acorns. Now we have a loon crying about the loss of god-given "freedom" to eat trans fats!!.....yup, you shure got us there!
The question is are these people opeating within their own (pre-existing) mentally challenged "conservative" personalities that the 24/7 Noise Machine just supplements and reinforces, or is the right wing propaganda machine the principal cause of the delusions?
As many many commenters have predicted, right wing domestic terror is going to increase as long as a non-conservative president is in office, and the gub'mint surely is looking at keeping an eye on such terror. Whether it can be prevented is another thing.
To do that, we'd need to acknowledge as a society that a political faction in this country has irresponsibly augmented and encouraged a huge number of conservative white male extremists who have shown a proclivity to firearms and bomb violence. That there are a million potential domestic terror "cells" out there in the Good Ol' US of A. And that a nationwide Noise Machine is knowingly feeding them daily disinformation and lies, which fuels their parania and lunacy.
The Noise Machine would likely argue that it is just attempting to foment vitriolic opposition to the Dem president, and does not condone political violence and murder of the lib'ruls and their satanic policies. Their lies and propaganda are for purely political purposes, they'd assert. But it's hard to see how this O'Reilly lie factory fall into that category.
Until the US gub'mint decides to actually protect the constitutional rights of women under Roe v Wade, and enact legislation that outlaws the various actions of those who think they have a religious duty to spend their days "protecting the lambs!", then murders of, and massive violence toward, health care providers will continue unabated.
But we long ago stopped being a responsible people with a responsible government and instead decided to cater to this appalling "conservative" movement---which is a circus of clowns at the best of times and a mob of irrational spittle-spewing nationalist authoritarians at others. The one constant is that they are not at any time a serious party.

I feel sorry for you if you never take risks.
Believe me, you have no reason to feel sorry for me. I live a perfectly fulfilled life. I wear my seatbelt when I drive. I don't use my handheld phone while driving. I don't smoke. I enjoy a nice glass of wine. And my french fries taste perfectly delicious without the transfats.
Cheers!
Posted by snark at June 1, 2009 08:40 AMWonder how many right wing pundits will take their criticism of the report back?
Right...They'll distance themselves from this terrorist, but they won't even see the connection. And the American Taliban freak show - a sampling of those terrorist sympathizers have already shown up here - will pretend shock in public while putting up shrines to the terrorist at home. Of course, they're already on record saying torture's just hunky dorky, why the hell wouldn't they also back murder of already borns, while whining that its murder to save a woman's life. Psychopathic scumbags are psychopathic, what're you gonna do?
BTW, can anyone figure what this "Choice" dude's trying to say? Why would someone be mad about making sure your food's healthy? And what a wuss changing names over and over. I guess consistency is only for hobgoblins!

Neighbors said they've seen a similar car at the house in Merriam. They describe the ongoings at the house as strange. They said it's a revolving door of men coming and staying there and describe what appear to be religious gatherings.

I have a question for you. Suppose you have a 16 year old daughter who was raped and is now pregnant with the rapist's child. She does not want to go through the full term because it will consataly remind her about the horrible thing happened to her even if she gives the baby for adoption. She also wants to go on through her studies and achieve her goals.
Would you force her to carry her preganancy throughthe full term and have the baby or would you respect her choice?
And since we are on this subject, the current law does not force a woman to have an abortion if she does not want. Do you agree?

I'm sorry folks, Turkana can tell ya, that person ain't me, this murder is unconscionable. There's no place for this in our society, period!
What a sorry thread this is. Many condolences to the family, friends, and fellow church members of Dr. Tiller. They deserve our prayers, our thoughts. Not this other junk. I'm sorry folks, lets get this back to these victims of some individual who's misguided. The victims, the survivors whom have had their lives tossed upside down by this horrendous act. Let law enforcement and the courts take care of this person.
Peace!

Well, it's early days yet, but speaking as a transplanted Kansan, I would bet the Topeka folks seek it if Roeder's convicted. He won't be walking the last mile, of course, because he's a white man who did it "for a good reason". :-/
Me, I wouldn't weep over Roeder if he did get the hot seat, but that would make him a martyr to the right wing loonies, and that's counterproductive. Better he rot in prison the rest of his life, preferably with a big, smelly cellmate named Bruno.
