Comments: Brinksmanship From North Korea

"The problem is that no one ever knows what to expect from a leadership that is obsessively opaque and not always rational." That would describe the USA under the Bush gangster regime for the last eight years. The Bushies demonized North Korea and talked tough, but mostly just sat on their hands and hummed "I can't see you" as little kids do when they cover their eyes.

The new Obama Administration is still totally imperialistic in its outlook. Still maintaining hostile imperial military occupations in Afghanistan and Iraq. We have thousands of nuclear bombs along with deadly delivery systems, but we don't want Iran to be able to defend itself against Zionist threats and American threats. We have been trying to keep South Korea from extending the hand of friendship to North Korea. We want trouble and conflict in the world so we can imperially intervene as we have been doing for the last 111 years. See 1898 USA occupation of the Philippines, that cost two hundred thousand Filipinos their lives in resistance to US occupation.

sure, bags...

because if you recommend a site, we know it will be fair and balanced...

Well, it does link to the NY Time, CNN, and the BBC.

You are correct, it is not exactly fair and balanced.

Smell the weakness.

"Smell the weakness."

Yes, why are these Lefties so fearful of Fox?

Posted by Bagley at June 13, 2009 04:31 PM

The shooter at the Holocaust Museum hated Foxnews.

I don't see your good news as anything but bad news. They surely did such a crackup job the last time. Maybe Mrs. Clinton will get better results, we'll just have to see.

Talk about smell...it's the stench of right wing troll cowardice....
Aren't you all a little old to be pissing your pants?

[F]iguring out what to do about North Korea never is easy. And North Korea now is playing all its cards.

Wait, so the answer isn't simply:

1. Call them evil.

2. Tell them we'll never talk to them, as doing so would be rewarding bad behavior.

3. Thump our chests, and invade. (Not North Korea, just somewhere.)

?

Weird. It seemed so simple before.

Well, I'm a Leftist, and generally all about negotiations and win/win, but the rules of the game often are run by the one at the bottom.
So I think we should track Dear Leader, every moment by every and ALL methods. We should let him know in clever ways, coupla' times a week minimum, that "we see you - NOW!" His future in war is measured in minutes.
Then we put enough B-52s and lighter stealth stuff to clear out that artillery near Seoul.
What if we just did that? Started first by taking out the immediate and known threat? While peeky-booing The Ill Guy?
Now that's some preemptive this Liberal might get behind.
