Comments: Watching and Waiting

I have noticed a general trend in my blogging that I sometimes need to stop for several weeks. I do these stops without any conscious thought, it just seems like my intellectual process of sifting news, engaging in the world occasionally needs to contract. Then I will suddenly start to see new things happening that spur me to write and post about events.

I don't know how people can post every day. Especially since I don't think many of us derive any income from the blogging. I guess I could throw together a discipline that would support daily blog, but discipline and blogging don't go together for me.

Good luck in California. That budget system is a complete mess. You folks have to rely on bipartisanship, which is to say, you folks are so screwed.

CA is poster child for the weakness of initiative politics.

Isn't there some kind of recall initiative starting for Ahnuld? I mean, Grey Davis was nailed for far less than this.

I distinctly remember Ahnuld's TV ad during that recall campaign: "Ah know what to do to fix the problems." Just play that back again and again.

Oh, sorry, I forgot that Democratic leadership assumes everyone plays nice and doesn't do crap like recall elections.

Great to at least hear from you, and I just wanted to wish you well.
