Then how is the sovietization and subsequent ruination of this great nation going to appease these imaginary gods? The Greeks were somewhat intelligent, but their superstitions and vague sense of purpose made them vassals of a more resolute people.
Posted by onar at June 28, 2009 05:51 AMHey Phid, you out there? From CP24 news; Parents separated from baby after transfer to US hospital because they lack passports.
"A provincewide search for an open neonatal intensive care unit bed came up empty, leaving no choice but to send the two pound, four ounce baby to Buffalo."
How tragic it is to separate the little baby from her parents. Shame, they couldn't even find a bed in Toronto for this little child! The nation's capital is in this Provence. Lucky that we're around with extra capacity I guess. No planning just luck that Buffalo had an extra bed.
Why is it that Canada can't provide for it's citizens? Where is their planning, their forethought to make sure they can take care of the little people? They've always relied on their neighbor to the south to make up for their lack of capacity. What happens if we follow their example? Where would they send this little child? Not our problem, right? "Let's stop enabling them, force them to take care of business themselves." Is that going to be your call?
And how could President Obama and his DHS chief be so heartless as to separate her parents from this little child.

Gather your little acorns, squirrel brain and store 'em up. Yeah, that incident "proves" the Canadian health care system is a TOTAL FAILURE that can't in any way take care of a "little child" and is heartless to the "little people".
Gobble your daily shit, peter.
Peter: *Burp*---'scuse me!
Posted by euzoius at June 28, 2009 10:38 AMEuzo, It takes 3 hours to get an emergency passport here. How come it takes a full weekend in Canada?
Canada rations it's healthcare. Nearly 5 miilion aren't even on their rolls currently, according to the latest WTA report released this month. That's one fifth of Canada's population without a family doctor. How's that different from America? 45, 48 million without insurance, one fifth of our population?
Then there's payment for these cross boarder treatments. Seems Canada doesn't pay our prices very well. Many hospital get left with a big write off. More expense for our health care systems. The people aren't liable, the Canadian healthcare system is.

Our president said the other day that his healthcare would only cost the price of a postage stamp a day. That's only $160.60, wow, where do I sign up?
Posted by peter at June 28, 2009 02:35 PMpsycho-petie©... another great thing is how much time you must waste culling the tubes for just exactly the right twisted crap "fact" to cherry pick in support of your demented "position du jour"....
although those celebs you anoited as dem's are in fact not it only once again shows your inability to see reality...
definition of reality for psycho-petie©...
"whatever crap I pick out of my ass at that moment"

Are you insane? Really. Are you absolutely fucking psychotic?
And them nasty wait times in Canada? Wait till you see what they're like in the States.
Phid, no family doctor, you're not in the system. That's the way it is in Canada, the flow chart. That document I linked to on another thread had that quote in it. I know you want to believe theirs is all that, but, really, it isn't. I was shocked to read that myself. Go back and read the WTA report. And research how available getting a family doctor is.
Posted by peter at June 28, 2009 09:14 PMall that matters according to psycho-pete©...
"Reality is what I make up and pick out of my ass at that moment..
Remember I make up new "facts" every 30 seconds and I'm not responsible if they are contradictory..."
