Comments: Copenhagen Climate Talks Already In Trouble. Guess Why.

So to sum up, I have a good chance of being injured or sickened by the rapid changes to our world that will unfold in the next ten years, BUT I won't have to worry about getting healthcare to treat my infirmities. Thanks Obama! way to keep it in perspective.

You have a much better chance of being grossly injured in a car accident of by a trip and fall in your own home within the next few days and being financially ruined by a lack of health insurance. Personally, I'm a bit more concerned about Congress addressing that in a timely manner and then worrying about addressing climate change issues. But to each his own.

Guess it's just my state of mind snark - watched Gore on Charlie Rose last night. Seems pretty ominous and pretty near.

Present Obama said today that he is definitely committed to making a commitment that he can keep on climate change. That is why his comittment is unwavering and if anyone doubts his position is firm, they need not worry about his commitment.

He spoke afterward briefly saying he hoped change would come to those he hoped would change. Opposing hope, he reminded us, was very bad policy and delays the very changes that give us hope. He said he hoped to foster a climate of change in Washington, and remained steadfast in his opposition to climate change.

Supporters gathered around afterward thanking the Present for his commitment to change, and stated they hoped his commitment to changing the climate in Washington to one of hope would never change. He assured the hopefuls that it would not and he would always oppose climate change.
