Comments: Update on the Abu Ghraib Children's Story

So, if the Muslims retaliate against the US for abusing their children, does that constitute their being classified as terrorists? If we are so concerned about winning the "war on terror," why are we not concentrating on changing the thought processes of the Muslim/ Arab community, showing them this is a better way? Bush said in a speech in WI that they are evil and cannot be reasoned with.

Let me get this straight. We perpetuate a war in Iraq, not Afghanistan, we imprison women and children. Film the raping of women and children, but we are the good guys, the shining example of democracy in the world. Does this even remotely resemble a double standard here? Every where you look, this prison scandal is covered up. If we are serious about this war, why not reveal everything and prosecute the specific ba$tard$ that did this, no matter how far up this goes.

THAT will show the rest of the world we are an example. More lies, more cover-ups, more "we didn't knows," and more GWB stating I did not authorize torture, despite LEGAL BRIEFS filed justifying torture (which shows clandestine) approval of methods, further endangers me and mine as well as you and yours, but they are the bad guys right?

As far as I can see, this appears to be right, “it has yet to show up in the mainstream media”, and I can’t understand the omission of such disturbing story. I wonder if there’s a concerted effort to cover it up due to its beyond disgusting topic.

Anyway, I’m going to send a note to the editor of my newspaper asking why this story has not been published, even though there seems to be ample evidence out there to merit some sort of entry.

The truth, the truth and genuine concern for our fellow human beings (no bombings raids, bullets, harsh-hand and mayhem to teach those poor souls who don't know yet what democracy is about), is the only method capable of helping set the inhabitants of the world free.

The UK Independent has a story tomorrow on this US child abuse at Abu Ghraib.
Senator Warner and his Commission are interviewing Paul Bremer next week on other RedCross-reported matters - Let's email and call the Senator and others on his committee and demand that they Mr. Bremer a few pertinent questions about child abuse.
