Comments: The Globe Brings the Goods

Yeah, the first debate was rough. Bush revealed as who he actually was, a petulant, spoiled rich kid who, over his entire life, would rather quit than lose a fair fight. See, when the entire Media is dependent on the kind of government that a Bush America brings, they just let this stuff slide. Unfortunately, his performance (not so much a performance, actually, than a revelation of his real person) was not a problem to his party's true belivers, Christian controlled robots who could care less how big a frat brat he was as long as he was dry and wasn't proven to be doing bad things with an intern. Send their kids off to die in Iraq, no problem, as long as he was on God's mission.
The fall will be a long one, my friends.

OMG! What a truly awful piece on Kerry! I think the part that sums up Kerry's and Washington Democratic Dumb Think is Kerry's search for VP.
I strongly urge all Democrats to read this article and keep it at our bedsides as a shining example of how to LOSE a Presidential Race!

How sad to see all this in post-mortem when it could have been reported at the time. If there had been reporters.

I don't doubt there will be more of this kind of thing now that Peterson has been convicted. Once the sentencing orgy is over, and until the next vaguely pretty sensational victim is decided upon, there will be time for reporting.

Supposing anyone remembers how it's done any more.

I just hope Edwards does not run in 2008. I never really understood the hoopla over him. Sure, he is good looking and all but he never convinced me that he can win political campaign when it gets nasty and dirty. Maybe that was his personality, always wanted to be positive but as we all know, politics is contact sports and you need 300lbs linemen to help push you forward.

The first debate DID cost W the election: it's just a matter of getting all the votes counted.

Brian, and when might that be? A friend just returned from New Mexico and they still haven't counted all their votes.
