Comments: Blameless Bush

Right on Mary.

It's odd how Republicans see a person working minimum wage at a burger king make a mistake and must fire him/her, but when it comes to the president of the United States, there is no responcibility. Even if Bush didn't personally know about the side effects, he should be responcible enough to know that just because he doesn't know the negitive side effects of an action, does not mean that he and his administration are absolved when the negitive side effects take place.

chris65203,

The fact that Bush takes no responsibility is precisely why this administration is so immoral. As a leader, it is Bush's responsibility to set the standards of what he will allow in his administration, and obviously, his standards are set pretty damn low. He doesn't care that top people in his administration advocate torture, he doesn't care that soldiers are dying because money is being spent on garbage programs like the missile defense boondoggle, and he certainly doesn't care that his Mengeles recommend using Africans for their experiments. Who decided it was okay to test aids drugs on the Ugandians that would have been illegal to carry out in the US? What did they expect to find out by using it in Uganda?

If he cared, you would see someone being held accountable, but that would mean admitting a mistake on his part. And that isn't going to happen in our lifetime.

Blaming Bush isn't going to get us anywhere. The mainstream media is THE problem in this country. If the myriad failings of the administration were accurately and fully reported, Bush/Cheney would not be in office. CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, the NY Times... they have all swallowed the Kool-Aid to one degree or another, and we will not have a functioning democracy until we establish media with integrity.

to expect any sense of accountability or integrity from gw or the media is an exerise in futility...i remember when gw was govonor of texas and the media was falsly reportings his accomplishments down there..."education state" ..the only records they set that i'm aware of were for executions...anyway i remember a story tucker carlson told which surprised the hell out of me that he told it...so it must have been true..he was privately interviewing little bush and started talking about that woman they were going to execute at the time..mary something i believe....carlson asked bush what he felt she might say to him if she got the opportunity....bush....that spineless fraud..grimaced and said in a whiney voice that she would say "pleeease don't kill me"....thats the man who is president of the united states....the man who led us into an unnessary war..where a lot of people are dying..may he rot in hell for what he's done

David Brock a former right winger who grew repulsed at what he saw 'on the inside' has written a new book called "The Republican Noise Machene". He refers to to nexus between talk radio and cable TV.

This noise machene is a big hinderence to getting the truth out. For example Limbaugh says something, Hannerty and O'Riley repeat it and before the mainstream media can verify the truth or falsehood of said story the Goebbels technique of the big lie has had its effect.

This problem is not going to get better until the left becomes effective at marshalling its side of the story. As the old saying goes 'a lie will go around the world before the truth gets out of bed.'

We must find ways to get the truth out of bed sooner.

Yeah, and George Bush pulls the wings off butterflies and he kills little babies and eats them for lunch!

Crawl out of your caves, people....

Y'all ain't gonna make it with anyone anyhow. Too busy villifying Bu$hitler, too disdainful of the Christian community, and too full of shit about what you actually believe in.

Y'all ain't gonna make it with anyone anyhow.

Sure will, especially after the right gets through fucking things up.

Too busy villifying Bu$hitler,

Those of us who would find having sex with him uncomfortable do villify him a great deal for his actions. You can go on dreaming of him hammering you with his great throbbing love and be a happy little brown shirt.

too disdainful of the Christian community,

Only those like you. Say, aren't you late for your snake handling and sip of poison today?

and too full of shit about what you actually believe in.

These things are called "ideas." We get them from our aspirations, and things and people that inspire us.

Try it. It's better than your fascist yells of Seig Heil!

ReMark: Are you tired of living in a cave?
Are you tired of making comments that have no relationship to the topic? Maybe the two are related. Think about it.

the brown shirts see how lame their vision is.
no armour for our young people right or wrong. they are marching into certain death.
so they must try to bully the population that sees what little boots has done in such a sad four years. there is no mandate, no landslide, just another theft of the vote.
they are not happy that we do not want any kool-aid.
the perpetual 'get over it' does not bide well.
the reisitance is here to stay, forever.

that is what bothers them the most, they are naked and we will not follow them quietly into the quagmire that is the legacy of this degenrate fearless fake leader.

what will he do when the world court comes for little boots fake a stroke like pinochet?

it aint gonna happen little brown shirts.
