Excellent, Mary. Thank you for your very hard work! I've sorely missed getting on the site, especially since it's one of the few venues where I can get the news and analysis I can't get through the SCLM. I could go to FOX, since they claim they are fair and balanced, as they stuff the administration checks in their pockets, but there is really nothing else like the left coaster.

Thanks again, phidipides

...and thanks to you too, phidipides, for coming around even thru the problems you were having...."the tunnel is closing again...." I think you wrote once

Well, that was reality. I was using a "web tunnel" that blocks my ISP, and it could barely get me on the site. It's the same technology dissidents use in countries where the goons monitor web browsing (similar to the NSA in America). Literally, the tunnel would start to close and I couldn't post or completely read posts to the site. I missed it terribly! Although it gave me an opportunity to go to several other blogs, I honestly found that this is the best compilation of news and analysis, hands down. Even the trolls are better here.

I hope you didn't have to yell at too many cats while getting the server up.

The nice thing about Fox, is at least when they're presenting a topic, they'll have pro and con arguments. They present both sides.

Some of the other networks just never present the other side.

Alterman sets muckie's source straight:

How low can they go? There’s an article making the right-wing rounds called “Fox News: Too Fair, Too Balanced," here. No, he doesn’t appear to be kidding. He complains. “Where else can you catch such luminaries of the left as Katrina vanden Heuvel, David Corn, and Eric Alterman on a regular basis?” I don’t know about Corn or Katrina, but I’ve appeared on Fox a grand total of three times in my life all of them in early 2002, to promote What Liberal Medial? Maybe this guy can get a job at Buzzmachine.

I feel for ya, muck. It is hard to have a realistic perspective when your information sources are unreliable.

Believe what you want. It's a hoot that you think I post as others. Chevy, you are wrong about everything you believe, especially your blind faith in a bad leader. That also extends to my identity, bone-head.
