You see the sound bite and story I got on my tv set described this speech by the Preznit as having an Oprah Winfrey-esque style to it with the (handpicked) faithful assured (cut to clip of Dubya sitting down with his mike saying (paraphrasing from my rememory here)"WE are going to save Social security for those 20 year olds because we have a moral responsibility to do that". Steve the highlights from the speech I witnessed did not include this clip of the Preznit "talking in tongues" or was it his "Baffle them with Bullshit" approach (but it is not as if the faithful would know the difference).

Who am I to believe Steve, you and the words transcribed directly from the event and on the official WH website transcript or my own 2 eyes from the filter of the Rightwing Corporate Media...and no I wasn't watching wasn't Fox News?

There hasn't been an increase in the terror alert status because 1. There is no national election pending. 2. There is currently no danger of Bush being impeached. 3. Tom Ridge is gone and the new guy hasn't had time to coordnate his efforts with Rove and staff yet.
