Klein, Fred Hiatt, Chait, and all the others are in favor of assisted suicide.

W says he wants to kill me. I say leave me alone. No, he says, he really wants to kill me. I say get away and leave me alone.

Klein/Hiatt/Chait come along and ask me, "well, what's your proposal? Don't just stonewall. Try to compromise."

St. Louis Post Dispatch has been sold to Lee Interprises. Does anyone know the history on this Company and whether or not their papers are conservative or liberal?

Joe Klein, Joe Klein...oh yeah! Now I remember, he was the guy who wrote a book on politics (That as Counterpunch pointed out, said nothing about the role of money in politics, thereby leaving out three-quarters of the story) under the name "Anonymous", lied when someone asked him if he was "Anonymous", tried to copyright said name and has been essentially writing on the centrist/ right-wing side of the fence ever since.
I'd say that if we've lost Joe, we haven't lost much.

yeah, what the hell is up with that?? The weirdest thing about Joe Klein is he was on the Daily Show and he said Bush's SS enronization would have absolutely no affect on SS and the problems would still be there. So, um, which one is it? Klein's article is the last straw, when it comes to me for TIME, I'm canceling my subscription. TIME had Chimp as person of the year; the NEWSWEEK that week had Barack Obama on the cover, so sorry TIME. I should say, Klein wasnt exactly amazing to begin with, not exactly a great writer, so we arent losing anybody big.
