I don't approve of these links to giving money to the DNC right now.

Beginning with Dean in the primaries and then followed-up horribly with Kerry during the campaign, the Dems have treated the online community like an ATM machine: send them an e-mail and get cash.

Meanwhile, Kerry abandoned the principles and demographics of the "internet generation" and went after a non-existent "undecided middle" while still asking (or having surrogates ask) for money every week.

NO MORE MONEY!!!

I am not feeding the Democratic machine until it shows me it cares about ME and not the rich and powerful. Voting for Condi because "the President should have the Secretary of State he wants" is absurd. If they are going to confirm Gonzales despite his criminal and inept behavior, then they have no morals to stand on. If they are not going to challenge illegal voting activities such as occurred in Ohio, then what type of Democracy do they stand for?

The ONLY power the Democrats have in congress right now is their power of DISSENT and their VOTES IN THE MINORITY. If they won't cast them for fear of "looking like obstructionists" then they are worthless to me as a progressive. If they are so cowed by the media and fear being "painted" by the RWMSM (right wing media spin machine) then they should be spending more time on The Daily Show and Air America and the thousand other local radio shows that have progressive audiences.

If the Dems are going to be Republican Lite, I'd just as soon slide into fascism. At least then, the cards are on the table and those of us who want to be revolutionaries can do so, and the rest of the sheep can just go along and be "good Americans" like 85% of the Germans and Italians did.
