Comments: Bush's No Child Left Behind Has Few Supporters, May Even Be Unconstitutional

"No Child Left Behind is bringing new hope and new opportunity to families throughout America, and we will not reverse course."

As all of the idiot sons initiatives, NCLB has largely been an unfunded mandate. Schools have had to make diffcult decisions about ending art, music, athletic, and even social science education, to meet the terms of NCLB. It's impact has been underwhelming, and kids are dumber than ever.

Nothing the idiot son touches goes without being fucked up. He's an amazing man. EVERYTHING he touches breaks.

I teach Special Ed in an urban school district and can personally testify to what an utter failure N.C.L.B has been for our students. Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders some of whom have terrible learning problems are forced to take the grade level standardized test, which they can't read and don't understand. I've watched them fill in the bubbles in the shapes of xmas trees, robots, etc in frustration. Then we are penalized because they score so poorly.
