Comments: The Republican Party's Moral Bankruptcy and the 2006 Election

In voting against the Schumer amendment, the Repugs voted FOR criminals--simple as that. GOoPers voted to let the Enron perps hide their ill-gotten gains by using false bankrupticies. The Republicans vote for crime and criminals. Pass it on.

Yeah but, all those Dems voted for the god damned thing. So thanks to that, Harry and Nancy have to work 10 times as hard to get something done, because the thugs can just point out YET AGAIN, that Democrats supported it.

Effin retards (sorry for the cognitively challenged) (In fact, if we use the term retards for people who do stupid things who should know better, doesn't that mean that the perjorative is lifted from the disabled or challenged or whatever you want to call it and dumped on the truly retarded?)

That Bankruptcy Bill is an outrage, as are those who voted for it!

And, these modern day professionals-- Robber Barons
nixed raising the min. wage, let alone what should be a living wage for citizens.

The "Let Them Eat Cake" Crowd has to be stopped.
Don't care if it takes squads of us as far as I am concerned "creatively" getting at them to mock them, and doing whatever else it takes to turn things around.

We can't do anything without the media.

The media? It's part of the Elitist crowd that has taken over against American citizens interests. Many people are on the internet and can be reached across the country.

No one is going to wave a magic wand and turn this financial debacle and these Elitists around. (nor are the votes there) Acts/actions are needed. Boycotts of foreign made goods are needed. These times are more like the sixties... by the more mature. Things need to be done and done "creatively"...such as Boston Tea Party type activites, and so on.

Alex, unfortunately many people only watch the MSM for their news and education on issues. The Democrats can barely get a mention on these media outlets. The fight is made more difficult by this fact. While writing emails, letters, and signing petitions is a way to get the attention of our politicians, in many cases this is not enough. I agree that the tactics of the 60's is long overdue. We should be in the streets instead of sitting comfortably behind our computers.
