Comments: Democrats Go Into Vulnerable GOP Districts To Hammer Against Privatization

Now is not the time to break out the popcorn either, Coasters.

Excellent.

Good behavior should be rewarded, of course.

While we cannot break out the popcorn yet, I am glad to see that we are learning from our past mistakes.

As they say, "Attack is the best defense."

Social Security will be a big part in the fight against Deborah Pryce in the Ohio 15th district.

Pryce is the architect of the 103 page communications strategy memo leaked to the Internet a month or so ago. She is also the one who has advised GOP congresspersons to hide under their beds rather than face the voters on this issue.

Here in central Ohio, we have a candidate and we are going to work to take this woman down.

Keep an eye out for the official announcement soon.

Alluding to the Wizard of Oz, I wonder if we pulled the curtain back on the Wizard we might not find it's Dean pulling the levers and making the machine belch fire?

Democrats Go Into Vulnerable GOP Districts To Hammer Against Privatization

Well, if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail... bah.

Posted by muckdog at April 1, 2005 03:26 PM

That's the best you can do Muck?

Well, it did lend itself well for a punchline. Everybody knows that Bush is just running clock on his term with Social Security proposals. Something to do.

Posted by muckdog at April 1, 2005 04:03 PM

Something to do.

Yeah like there aren't a million more pressing matters to attend to like jobs, rising medicare and medicaid costs with subsequent federal budget cuts to both, rising number of people without healthcare, rising gas and oil prices, cuts for education, cuts in veterans benefits and first line responders, rising deficits and debt, thousands of troops still stationed in a quagmire in Iraq.... but hey lookee here..What's the headline all day long.

Breaking News: Mrs. Schiavo is still Dead and the Vatican is denying that the Pope has died....

In many respects the world is probably grateful Junior is distracted by these other less pressing events and is in the middle of his Bamboozelpalooza Tour. Focusing his energy on the War against the middle class right here in this country for a change...perhaps maybe it will keep him from starting another war overseas for awhile.

Can anyone tell me if there has been any report on what went on over in Iraq lately in the Mainstream media?..You know the place we have over 140000 of our troops and spend 4 billion dollars a month. Gee those higher oil prices will also certainly impact the cost of Bush's failed War in Iraq donchya think?

And in many respects maybe I don't want Junior to attempt to "confront problems" head on, the past 4 years has proven it only makes things worse. Maybe Muck's right it gives him "something to do" biding time until his term runs out.

Seriously Muck. I have been here on this site for a while now and that really is the stupidest thing that I have ever seen you post.

Like Bush doesn't really care about gutting SS. That is bullshit. It is the single intense raging fire that is driving the administration for this entire term. The Republicans have hated SS with a purple passion ever since it was initiated and they haven't been shy about saying so. This is certainly why people are so wary of their proposals. People in this country like SS. They do not want a bunch of ideologues fucking it up.

Please try to come up with something better or just don't post at all. You are embarrassing yourself and wasting our time.

Don't be lulled into thinking Iraq and SS are the only things on GW's agenda. There is still rumors about Iran.

Bush said (about Terri) that the strong must protect the weak in our society. Democrats need to use that sound bite and video clip against all Republicans every time they try to undermine SS, programs for the poor, veterans' benefits, etc.

Nohelp, I like that idea. It would also be good as a voice over for pictures of dead Iraqi children.
