pess, I had read that editorial too and thought the same thing. I am glad you wrote about it. These people have been proven wrong on so many things yet they are the ones calling the shots today....comforting, NOT. But one thing I know that someone will point out is what their answer will be for this change and resultant "flop". It has something to do with a certain date changing everything as "it" is the basis and justification for their latest foreign policy Flop.

I suppose you can call it a flop...but it sounds to me like the argument that the NeoCons control the white house does not stand.

Also it was written in 1979...a lot has changed in 26 years
