I'm still throwing up after hearing Ann Coulter made the front page of Time; what I've read of the article makes brings new meaning to the word fellation.

In response, Newsweek is probably planning a lead article asking if Michelle Malkin is the next Blessed Virgin, and wondering why the Holy Spirit has not yet bestowed her with child yet.

So that's why my coworker said he's going to loan me his TIME magazine: he knows I hate that woman with a passion (and I call her his girlfriend).

In other news:
self-righteous religious wackos think ignorance will keep one safe from sexually transmitted disease.

The euro is back up to $1.30. The dow is almost down to 10,000.

The S&P 500 is back to where it was in November. Which is where it was one year ago.

And this is with oil prices falling....

Time has forfeited a large part of its credibility with the Coulter cover. It truly amazes me that wiser heads at that rag acquieced in that decision. For the love of God, that woman is an advocate of domestic terrorism, and don't tell me she's "only kidding". What a world: the Secret Service see's fit to roust the ensemble of an entire art show on the basis of a single, uninspired offering by one of its participants, and batshit-crazy loons like Coulter end up on the cover of Time. I know that I'll think long and before buying another copy, and I'm generally good for 5-7 copies a year.

I'm so proud of my Mayor. Well, actually, he isn't mine since I don't live in the city. Mine is a religious republican union man.

But I am a native San Diegan, and everytime I see the guy I think, Dead Man Walking. Didn't want the job, ran for re-election because the asshat that would've won it, ron roberts, was far more extreme and highly ambitious and rather ego driven. Then the Surfer Girl got in it and mucked everything up. And murphy got a ballot proposal passed that makes him, the weakest mayor yet, a Strong Mayor.

San Diego Politics, its Popcorn worthy.
