So Bush is going down in flames, the entire country is being run by a right-wing evangelical cabal, and what's your punchline? Oh yeah - attacking the Democrats.
You may be an ideological warrior, but you're one miserable fucking political coward.
Posted by The Phantom at April 19, 2005 09:03 PMHave a good day Phantom...
Posted by Steve Soto at April 19, 2005 09:07 PMI think that "Wrong Track" numbers can be horribly misleading--look at the last election.
I just told my mother that I was afraid for my country, and that America was in a very dangerous place. And she said, "oh I know, Paul."
She's a fundamentalist Christian who wouldn't dream of voting for a Dem.
So, given how frenzied the religious right is about how the liberal activist judges are dragging our country to hell in a handbasket, I think that we need to factor in AT LEAST 10% as believing that Bush needs to be MORE fanatically religious in order to get our country back on track...
Posted by Paul at April 19, 2005 09:49 PMThese polls prove that xenophobic U.S. citzens are fine as long as Bush is screwing someone else (Iraq, The Treasury, The UN, Public Education, Medicare).
The echo chamber propaganda parrots will never see the light until its a train running over their asses.
Posted by smooth at April 20, 2005 12:15 AMAdolph Hitler exterminated six million human beings. But that's NOTHING compared with the crimes the Democrats in Congress are committing!

The public is dumping Bush.
Posted by T2 at April 20, 2005 09:55 AMthe really important number is that only 59% of Repugs support him now..that is an electric shock to Mr. Rove.
Posted by T2 at April 20, 2005 09:58 AMYes Steve many of us would like to know who ran those focus groups? The data seems to be lacking. I guess we're supposed to just take some unnamed sophist-researcher's word for it.
The third rail still has plenty of juice in it and all the polls that have verifiable numbers confirm that the sparks are flying everytime Bush gets close to it.
