Comments: Santorum's Pay For Play Approach To Hurricane Warnings

This is all about profits when it sould be all about people! There is a progressive solution to all isssues, and it is not giving plum contracts to big political donors. Progressive change is coming!

There was one blogger out there who caught the wind in January on what was coming down the pike

The shocking thing is how cheap a whore Santorum is. Apparently the contributions in question only amount to about $3,500. At that rate even I could buy me a Senator or two.

I don't know why this offends me, but it does.

Way to go, Rick. Go after a government program everyone benefits from in a tangible way every single day.

And I'm sure he'll get high praise from all those rural folks the GOP depends upon for votes. I'm sure they want to pay extra for what they get now as a service through taxes, just so Rick can offer blatant payback to Accu-Weather for donations.

Does this guy even want to win re-election?

There isn't a word that discribes the mix of disbelief and disgust I feel right now.

I can't wait for the NWS tornado warnings, which you can get to after watching this brief trailer for XXX 2: State of The Union and clicking "no" twelve times on the box that asks me if I want to trust content from Party Poker.com.

How bad is he behind right now?

In PA, we are doing everything possible to rid ourselves of Rick. In the latest poll he is 14 points behind Casey. Rick must be getting a little worried, because yesterday he proposed govt. supported savings account for children. What a visionary.

"Does this guy even WANT to win reelection?"

Good question. Some days it seems like Santorum is an a kamikaze run toward defeat next year, but other days he actually seems to show some realization that he's a right-wing loon in a blue state. The fact that he's now suddenly foot-dragging on the nuclear option after being its biggest cheerleader in the Senate seems to show he may still care about his seat.

Come on Rick, be a man, show Bush who his biggest friend in the Senate is.
