Comments: Alea Jacta Est?

Slaughter, my Congresswoman, has for many years supported reinstating the fairness doctrine. My hope is that, should the Dems ever regain control of Congress, that they make that a priority issue. Not that it would solve the Dems' media woes, but it would help staunch the bleeding.

best.

The reason people are watching Fox News over the other news networks, is that because it is the most balanced out there.

The reason people watch FAUX Nooze is because it sensationalistic.

They are waking up, slowly, to its propaganda, diversionary tricks, and misinformation.

Americans are starting to realize they aren't getting the real news.

That's why they come to blogs.

muckdog - I'm just a typical middle-aged homemaker (are they typical anymore?) and I stopped watching CNN, Local news shows, reading the local paper, and have for the last few years been reading everything online, NYTimes, Wash Post, local newspaper, blogs, congressional websites etc. It's almost a full time job to keep up and try to sort out truth from propaganda. It's sad that I can't even trust my legislator's statements to be the whole truth free of spin.

Am I living in a fantasy world? Not anymore.
