Comments: Bush changes direction on Sudan

Oh, we can't go off saving Darfur now! We don't want to appear to be insensitive to the Janjaweed culture, or meddle with the Chinese or Swedish or French oil interests in the Sudan, do we?

I mean, what will Jacques think?

It's always nice to sit back in your cushy crib and make glib remarks.

From every side of this, there are problems. There are those who want the killing to stop for humanitarian reasons, others for religious reasons. It is an internal issue for Sudan, but a human issue for those on the outside. Yes, Colin Powell called it correctly, but it's nothing new for the world to basically ignore genocide . . . Cambodia and Rwanda come to mind.

So, the Bush administration is trading lives for intel. Since when do they even know what to do with the intel they get?

Lol Toby. You are screeching about Chirac but the Saudi's are worthy of great love from you! You've got some screwed up priorities kiddo!

BTW, the Army has raised their recruiting age and desperately need you. Get on down to your local recruting station and put your butt on the line for your hero!

Why should I take the advice of someone who regards military service as punishment rather than the noble calling it is? Go pound sand up your ass, old man.

Toby,
I come from a military family and have several members serving right now. LOL, you are such a dupe. Put your ass on the line for your hero. Why should I go when I don't support the administration or it's crazy incompetent goals?

You are the one that considers military service a punishment or you would be lining up to serve right now! Truthfully, you are just a chicken who hides behind others and blames others.

Have a nice life under the Sauds.
