Comments: Secret Blair Cabinet Memo: Bush Decided To Invade Iraq In Mid-2002

many, many words have been written and quoted showing Bush wanted to invade Iraq from the early days of his "presidency". These new memos are not a surprise, and a hundred more just like them won't bring back the 1575 American GI's that Bush's War has taken. Impeachment would help.

This much was apparent to anyone who thought rationally and ignored anything the Bush administration said in the summer of 2002. Bob Woodward laid it all out in his book "Plan of Attack" as well. It was clear to me from at least August/September of 2002 that Bush had no objective other than war.

It's like slapping someone in the face, claiming you never took you hands out of your pockets and telling them they're just imagining that stinging feeling in their cheek.

The United States and England are being governed by WAR CRIMINALS. That is the reality we face.

How I wish I could be British for about a month. I could work in the campaign and help the Liberal Democrats gain enough seats that Labour would be forced to dump Blair and choose a non-puppet as PM.

I'm still waiting for the next bombshell - the secret agreement between Blair and Bush that forced the Bushies to invade Afganistan first in order to secure British governmental support, rather than Iraq as they wanted to from Jan 22nd, 2000.

And your point is...? We could find hundreds of memos, but what does that mean? Bush/Blair lied. LOL So fucking what!

Without the news media it means nothing. In any other Administration, this would have been a lead story on the 5:30 International News. Not one peep. I guess "The Run-a-way Bride" is just sexier than our lying President.

Judith,

Give it to Dan Rather, I'm sure he'll run it ASAP. But be careful, this time i'm sure he'll want to make sure it is ligit. Oh, but I'm sure he is also part of the conservative agenda to turn the world into G.W.B's puppet.

Judith,

I must agree, today's teevee news, which I made the mistake of actually watching, was worse than usual. Why am I under the impression that Laura Bush is going to get a comedy special next week?

Posted by rlprather at May 2, 2005 03:57 PM

FDRsucks: Yes your right, Rather would have run with the story, and would have had every right to do so. However, I know that people like you prefer lies and deceit to reinforce your view of the world.

Riprather: Yeah, one would think that just maybe the media/Rove are trying now to remake the image of Laura and George as just your average hubby and wife. Actually, it was insulting.

I think Loren has signed Laura up for a one year contract on Saturday Night Live. She is to play the character of a dumb and dutiful wife to the president of the US.
