Comments: Screwing Granny Smith Out Of Her Food Stamps Is The Perfect Bush Administration Mother's Day Story

This administration is slapping the hands of DuPont with a miniscule fine for the toxicity of Teflon

In 1981, two babies out of seven born to Teflon plant workers had birth defects along with the Teflon chemical in their blood. After EWG urged EPA to investigate DuPont's 20-year Teflon cover up, the Agency sued DuPont on four counts. For the suppressed study on the babies' blood alone, EPA could fine DuPont $183.8 million.

The Bureau of National Affairs (BNA) reported that the day before EPA was to recommend a penalty amount to the judge, the parties reached an agreement in principle, for which DuPont has set aside $15 million.

Bash if you must, this old gray head -- but don't you dare touch Paris Hilton's tax cut.

Sheesh -- is this a great country, or what?

I'll have a double dip of or what, please.

This is a major mistake on the part of the criminals running what used to be our country. Once older people can't live on their benefits, their children will have to fork over the money, even if they live in red states and belong to one of the wingnut groups.
BTW, what ever happened to the Fourth Commandment? "Honor thy father and thy mother."

The timing is certainly characteristic of the Bush administration. It shows that Bush is not a sociopath but a psychopath.

A sociopath doesn't understand that other people have feelings like himself and suffer like himself. A sociopath would quite happily screw the old, the poor and the weak because as far as the sociopath is concerned they are not people but animated dolls placed in the world for his amusement. If a few of them get broken while he plays his games, such is life - more dolls will come along to replace them.

A psychopath knows that other people have feelings and suffer, and he wants them to suffer. The more pain, the better. A psychopath often gives warnings of what he's about to do: toying with them first makes them even more distraught; giving yourself a handicap (even though you've rigged the game so the victims can never win) allows the psychopath to convince himself he is better than his victims. A psychopath usually rubs the noses of his victims in what he has done to them to increase their suffering.

A sociopath would not have timed this for the day before Mother's Day because a sociopath could not even begin to conceive that such timing would have increased indignation (remember, a sociopath plays with animated dolls that do not have feelings, therefore would not waste his time trying to increase the pain felt by objects that are incapable of feeling pain). A psychopath would have timed it this way to upset people even more.

And you can bet the evil fucking bastard smirked while he was doing it. The smirk of a cat with canary feathers on its face. The smirk of somebody who just had an orgasm in public with nobody realizing. For a psychopath, hurting people is even better than sex, and getting away with it is better still.

Bush doesn't know anybody who needs either food stamps or Medicaid. That would maybe be okay if he had any empathy, but he's missing that gene--so what can we do about this? Where's the outrage? I'm terrified of getting older, since I worked in human services all my life and "forgot" to invest lots of money for my retirement. Democrats, please get in people's faces about this and foreign policy and the environment and everything else. Stop being polite and tolerant of this kakistocracy!

One of these days we're going to find a way to get the voters mad about welfare-corporate welfare. Right now we have policies that make LBJ's 'war on poverty' look like the model of fiscal restraint.

Performance? If an economy that exports jobs and imports destitute third world peasents while gobbiling up most of the world's investment capital with the net result of the tax policy being a return to 1920's level distribution of income, then we're having success beyond all expectations.

So many hear the cry for tax cuts and ignore the corresponding rise in state and local taxes as well as the decrease in services and think of Bush as the worker's friend. With friends like Bush...

Once older people can't live on their benefits, their children will have to fork over the money,

The neo-cons and republi-cons think old people should die when they can't work. They won't send their parents shit. Those of you helping support a parent -while your neo-con siblings beg-off- know what I mean.

"We haven't even gotten to food, clothing, or utilities yet."

Don't forget transportation, too. Those bus fares are getting up there, even with the "senior citizen" discount.

Anyone who still supports this administration needs to have their head examined to see if the lobotomy they obviously have had is reversible. No one, NO ONE with any brains or morals would support this facist regime. If people don't wake up from this stupor they are in, our nation is going to fail. Is that in plain enough english or I do I need to dumb it down for the Bush supporting war loving flag waving red staters?
