I can't remember the specifics, but wasn't there a documentary about John Kerry that was going to run on some T.V. stations during the election that was pulled? I think it was put out by the swift boat veterns group, but I'm not 100% sure.

Sinclair Broadcasing wanted to broadcast a one-sided trashing of Kerry largely as a propaganda arm of the Swift Vets, but after significant pressure from advertisers, lefty activists and Media Matters, they agreed to broadcast a more "balanced" documentary. Not that the "balanced" documentary was accurate either, but they didn't get censored in any way. They did transmit their program but had to include more "balance" rather than be one-sided.
