but I'm sure that it was all Newsweeks fault. (snark)

Laura Advances Freedom's March
and after that nice rant...
Mr. Soto, Secretary of State would of done what....?
If you gona bitch about it, at least give us a "I would of done this instead"
Posted by bitch and moan at May 26, 2005 10:20 AM"I've not seen the reports that you're talking about today." - boy that Condi is one smart cookie! Maybe she saw them yesterday, maybe she didn't see today's reports, maybe the report was printed yesterday, but being talked about only today. It's all so confusing when you're Secretary of State. I wonder how Jefferson did it.
No wonder she got the big promotion.
Posted by Flamethrower at May 26, 2005 11:37 AMBitch and Moan:
I would have had the president go public within an hour with a condemnation of the violence as it goes against what he said in his SOTU speech. I would have had Condi ring up her buddy the Egyptian ambassador and drag his sorry ass over to Foggy Bottom for an asskicking with her spiked heel boots.
In other words, I would have made Mubarak squirm publicly a little instead of allowing him and his thugs to make my wife look like a fool. And I would have called Mubarak personally and told him to read my SOTU speech again to see if he missed anything, so that he knew that this will not happen again.
What, are you actually advocating that this moral clarity administration do nothing publicly about this?
Posted by Steve Soto at May 26, 2005 11:54 AMI would have had the president go public within an hour with a condemnation of the violence as it goes against what he said in his SOTU speech.
I would also add that if the Egyptian government beats up on peaceful demonstrators again, they lose their money. All of it.

Ha, moral, right! Not at all. I would say that the hidden agenda in all of this is Bush needs them for something and therefore did not give them the tongue lashing that was deserved. It's nice to blow steam once in a while Steve but lets try to read between the lines before jumping to conclusions.
Posted by bitch & moan at May 26, 2005 01:23 PM...ut lets try to read between the lines before jumping to conclusions.
Yah, you have a great point there. After all this adminstration is just chock full of subtle and nuanced foreign policy.
Posted by Simp the Biodiesel Pimp at May 26, 2005 01:58 PMjjoats, thanks for the site. Funny stuff.
Posted by Judith at May 26, 2005 04:12 PMHow committed is Bush to his lofty rhetoric on supporting the spread of democracy in the Islamic world
So that's what this shit was all about!? I thought it was about destroying Iraqs cities so American tent manufacturers could increase their profits.
If you gona bitch about it, at least give us a "I would of done this instead"
You're just fucking stupid.
I would say that the hidden agenda in all of this is Bush needs them for something
Bwaa Haaa Haaa! Stop! You're proving my point!
"You're just fucking stupid."
Ahh yes phidipides. You again. I see your grade school vocabulary has not improved. I look foward to seeing more of your great debating skills at a later date. I sure we will learn so much.
No wonder no one listens to you liberals.
