Hell, I saw thrash/death metal bands Deicide, Immolation and Skinless recently. Wonderful, lyrical music, as good as B'way show tunes....

It's amazing to me these bands can still play here in Nazi Amerika.

I'm with Katherine - thanks for the reminder. I put on a tape I recorded about the same time you were playing music. 90 minutes of alternating AWB and Earth, Wind and Fire - music that's stood the test of time.

I love that band! I haven't heard their music in years. Thanks for the reminder.

For 37 years I have been the chief roadie for The Sons of Champlin.

In 1976 we spent the summer touring with AWB. A great summer, lots of great music.

Jim, a connection with EWF. Bill Champlin, front man for the Sons of Champlin and also a member of Chicago, picked up a Grammie for writing "After the Love is Gone," a huge hit for EWF. Because Chicago is touring with EWF, when they play his song, my friend gets to come out and sing it with them.
