Comments: Public Doesn't Want Media To Be Cheerleaders For War On Terror

well, yes and no - if any signficant percentage of that 24% watches Fox, then that may be exactly why they're so successful; in a world of several hundred channels, a 2 rating (2 percent of television households) is considered very strong

in fact, I think it's because Fox is targeting that very passionate 24% that they are so successful

I think Steve is trying to tell us that the overwhelming majority of Americans are watching PBS and listening to Air America.

A quick Arbitron google search puts that claim to shame.

ah, mucktroll resurfaces in a world that finds his views smelly and his president a liar (see Steve's post above this).

Fox news always get a staggering 2.4 compared to CBS, ABC, and NBC's 22. Only the painfully stupid watch Fox news (the Factor viewership is dropping like a rock, so they're not all stupid). And that's the way it is.

We know the same mind set that got us out of Vietnam and consequently got many, many Vietnamease killed, are the same people who want us defeated today.

Richard, I'll make the same offer to you that I did to Toby (Hey, maybe that's why he's hiding.).

I'm a US Army vet, E-5, got out in 1968. If you have not served, but think this war is a good idea, you can press your cowardly lips to my tattooed, VETERAN ass.

Repack, in all fairness to Richard, I got so mad at the reflexive "blame the liberals" canard from him that I deleted his post. Sometimes I get sick and tired of the Vietnam blame game from his ilk, as if the 55,000 dead Americans wouldn't have happened if we all supported the war from start to finish.

Richard, by all means, tell me and Repack what war you fought in.
