Comments: Judith Miller and Treasongate

Exactly right. There is a major difference between a reporter who observes and a player who gets in the game. Millers defenders cry, "She didn't even write a story about her information." And they seem to think that is exculpatory. The fact that she was talking to people and perhaps passing info on, and NOT writing a story indicates that she was a player in the game, not an observer on the sidelines. Her behavior in Iraq certaintly showed quite clearly that she considered herself a player.

Bendito, just watch where all of this leads. You're dismissing it all out of hand. Insert Clinton for Bush and you'd want so many investigations, your head would spin. Just as mine is.

PETA oughta be extremely vexed with the beating this dead horse is receiving.

*****

You WISH.

Dead Horse? Sounds like a good moniker for Hot Karl, and probably more of the Traitor White House.

I bet they cannot believe that a Republican prosecutor is actually doing his job.

Benito: If he were a Native American, his name would be "Stands With Traitors."

Frank Rich's NYT Op-Ed effectively corrects the frames and discredits the republican diversionary smokescreen. As I wrote yesterday and Frank Rich reports today, "Treasongate" is not just about outing Ms Wilson. Treasongate is about the total Iraq scam. Reconstituting nuclear weapons, the 911 Iraq connection, Al Queda Iraq connections and all the attacks on the truth tellers should all be exposed. If U.S. citizens were competent, we would be in the middle of impeachment proceedings.

Bottom line. Someone squealed. Start the draft. Beat the draft dodger.
