I may not have mentioned this recently, but I really dislike this administration.
In a just world, the Enron/Reliant/Williams gouging of California, abetted by Bush and Cheney's stonewalling, would be a Teapot Dome-scale scandal. Instead, this story will gain zero traction; the guilty parties will not merely escape, but prosper.
Yet if I were to advocate some kind of violent, Old Testament-style retribution, I would be accused of being shrill.
Mourn for America's soul.

Just because a judge was appointed by Bill Clinton is no reason to trust him/her. Just who was in the Oval Office when NAFTA and GATT were approved? Who sought fast-track approval for trade negotiations? (Didn't get it) Who allowed DNC to steer him away from the traditional support base of the Democratic Party in favor of the generous folks at NouveauRiche.com?
I truly wish there was such a thing as an Old Testament retribution. Or Dante's seventh level of Hell. Or the Tooth Fairy.
Maybe we'll just have to settle for living in a world run by BushitCo.

Locusts in Bush's and Ken Lay's beds? Blood in their ice water? Frogs in the Oval Office? Fire and brimstone in Crawford?
