Comments: Uranium from Africa and the Senate (SSCI) Report - Part 1

Great post. As you dig we get close to the tresonous bastards that send our kids to war. As you connect the dots, we soon will be at AIPAC doorsteps, for those who forget the Niger documents it appears, have a nexus to recognized fascist Michael Ledeen.

You said:

Ambassador Joseph Wilson was/is right on his broad claims, even if he may have been confused or mistaken over some (mostly minor) details.

Could you please enumerate areas in which he was confused or mistaken...This is important as the right wing noise machine is attacking him unmercifully in order to justify the outing of his wife. This must be squelched if at all possible.

This whole thing was based on forged, or faked documents....there is no, repeat no, questions about that. Who forged them and presented them to the Bush/Blair stovepipe is a real good question.....why doesn't the press and GOP Media try answering that first, before they continue their smear of Wilson. And let's not forget another point where there is no, repeat, no question: it was the BUSH Administration that sent Wilson to Niger.....the CIA works at the discretion of the President, so it matters not whether Plame, her boss, Cheney, his boss or whomever sent him......he was sent by the Bush Administration. Believe this one thing: if Joe Wilson had come back from Niger and said...."Iraq tried to buy yellowcake", this entire episode would have never unfolded as it did. Wilson would have been lauded as a "great Patriot" by Bush for confirming the "mushroom cloud" hoax. And Wilson's wife and her vital work would have proceded until this day.

Frederick Fleitz, Bolton's aid, came from WINPAC. Just sayin'.
