Good interview by BuzzFlash. Obviously, Reid is not fooled, in anyway, by Bush and his Administration. At least I find comfort in that fact. Harry Reid is right, arrogance, power and greed are the hallmarks of this group of criminals.

Al just loves to throw out idiotic statements. Please change his anti-stupid perscription. The current perscription is not working.
Posted by Judith at August 1, 2005 12:27 PMOkay Al, i'll bite. Please share with us the factual reasons why Reid should be in jail?
Posted by Judith at August 1, 2005 12:30 PMJudith: He is a communist, and opposes vital reforms in the social security scam that could free up needed funds for the war on terror in Iraq.
Posted by Al at August 1, 2005 12:39 PMjudith, why bother? just assume whoever al wants to arrest today is a commie and then you can return to the 21st century.
Posted by benjoya at August 1, 2005 12:58 PM"... free up needed funds for the war ..."
And preferring to fund retirement over death and destruction is what makes him a communist?
Al, when you grow up, you will want to read up on what a communist is. Then, you will apologize to Senator Reid for your ignorant libel.
Posted by pessimist at August 1, 2005 01:01 PMAl is a parody.
Read what he writes.
Have a good chuckle.
Move on.
Don't respond.
Somewhere, in a red state hopefully, he is sitting at his keyboard with his little flacid pud in his hand giving himself a stroke or two everytime someone responds to his humor.

that was a parody troll, i assume. hey al, one of those commies stole your name!
Posted by benjoya at August 1, 2005 01:11 PMJudith: He is a communist, and opposes vital reforms in the social security scam that could free up needed funds for the war on terror in Iraq.
Okay. Then anyone who opposes SS reform is a communist? Is that what you are saying. If so, explain that concept to me, or explain how Reid is a communist for opposing this vital reform.
Posted by Judith at August 1, 2005 01:23 PMJudith: Social Scamcurity is a communist program.
Posted by Al at August 1, 2005 01:25 PManyone who opposes SS reform is a communist?
almost. anyone who believes in social security is a communist. see, social security = socialism = communism = saddam = osama. that's what they taught al in playgroup.

"Didn't liberal used to mean open-minded?"
Yes. Now it means knife sharpener.
Posted by Slit at August 1, 2005 01:30 PMDid you read what Reid said? He sounded like a madman.
All I can say is that the GOP is high-fiving each other on days that Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Dean or Kennedy get microphone time.
Posted by muckdog at August 1, 2005 01:31 PMof course, SS is the most popular government program ever. all them old commies stealing our money. give it back, grampa!
Posted by benjoya at August 1, 2005 01:31 PMal is right. all i want to do is dismantle social security. everyone knows that.
Posted by dubya at August 1, 2005 01:32 PMAl, how is it a communist program?
Posted by Judith at August 1, 2005 01:46 PM
Reid is great - the dems will be back in power soon. The American people are sick of all these traitors in the GOP. Look at the polls. The country is sick of Bush and sick of the GOP. The GOP has betrayed America and its time to take it back!
MUCKDOG, AL - WHAT THE F**K ARE YOU TRAITORS DOING HERE? - YOU SHOULD BE IN IRAQ FIGHTING FOR YOUR BITCH BUSH!

Posted by Roy Batty at August 1, 2005 03:10 PMvery true muck. Reid comes across as a dopey hack, but maybe it's just me. BTW, did you see the manufacturing #'s today? economy keeps rockin along. and how about these earnings lately from the public companies??
Posted by Tex at August 1, 2005 04:16 PMTex,you do you know the War Harry REid criticizes Junior's handling of is costing a billion dollars and several lives a week. Plus you do realize Bush is putting that cost on the government credit card, keeping it off the current books. Gee wonder how much of those manufucturing numbers have to do with equipment needed to rebuild and supply the WAR machine. The War costing us an arm and a leg but we were told would pay for itself. I hear Halliburton's profits are up 284% this past quarter, they manufacture all sorts of war related shit, you know stuff outside of lies.
Posted by at August 1, 2005 05:07 PMBTW, did you see the manufacturing #'s today? economy keeps rockin along. and how about these earnings lately from the public companies?
Oh, of course, it's easy to make your earnings look good when you transfer jobs from the living-wage-demanding U.S. workers overseas to folks who will happily take 1/20 of that.
And for the remaining domestic workforce -- the trick, you see, is to pay them little enough so that they can qualify for government financial aid, thereby avoiding another big chunk of costs. Just let the taxpayers pick up the tab instead. Genius!
No, of course that's not communism! Companies are doing it, so it has to be called capitalism.
...from the living-wage-demanding U.S. workers overseas to folks who...
Oops, that's not clear. Make it:
..from the living-wage-demanding U.S. workers to folks overseas who...

I would disagree with Reid about Bush not knowing about the Valerie Palme affair. They all knew it because they all plan it.
I saw the other day a show that was dealing about the message of the repubs about all Issues how they always promises goods for all but does exactly the opposites. The lower taxes that only benefits for the tops % of this country cost all of us more at home as the money that was returned to the States has gone down. I don’t know about all of you but here house taxes are hitting the roof. I heard about a small house close to the bay paying $ 15000 a year. Retirees are forced out of there homes.
It is all in the wording. Under the Bush administration the clean air is more the dirty skies, Medicare was a handout to the Pharmaceutical companies, Alaska drilling for the oils companies. And the pork’s attached to last week 2 bills is scandalous.
Halibuton does not need more of out taxes $.
On the Ohio’s stolen election; the raw story has another article on another scandal.

Tex and Muck should henceforth be known as the "borrow and waste" Republicans. They want to borrow massive amounts of money and throw it down the sewer or hand it out to buddies with no bid contracts.

I'm still working on Al's profile. From what I've learned so far, I think I can maybe translate Al's gibberish.
"Oh Jeff! Drill me! Drill me like I'm a Caribou's mating ground at ANWR Oh! Oh! Hammer me! Hammer me, Gukie! Tell me how you did the President again! I'm almost there...almos...almo..I must think of dead troops in Iraq!!"
Didn't liberal used to mean open-minded?
Until people like you started running the government. You fucks have had Congress for 10 years and the entire show for 4.5. If it's fucked up and you don't like it, it's your own stupid fault. What a dipshit. The things you rail against are the things you caused. What a maroon!
Reid comes across as a dopey hack
The chimporer's your speed. Leave the dialogue to the big boys. They can handle it.
And for all you neo-cons freaks, Guckert never went away! There could be a "blue blazer" and all the goodies. Who could he have been servicing in the White House? Je ne sais pas! But Gukie may be pointing the finger...or whatever he points...soon.
The Secret Service has people working in it who do not like Bush or his nocturnal activities and they released the logs...There were many times when he (Guckert) visited here when there were no press conferences or news briefings. These were for the daytime visits. Portland Independent Media Center

Posted by Tex at August 2, 2005 04:04 AMTex,
No I wasn't aware that you didn't support the Bush tax plan but you did support the "borrow and waste" ss plan, iirc.
Al says;
I just want to point out that no one ever refuted my arguments about Reid. All you could do was give me abuse.
Said arguments as to why Reid should be thrown in jail;
He is a communist, and opposes vital reforms in the social security scam that could free up needed funds for the war on terror in Iraq.
First, you provide no evidence that Reid is a communist. Second, I was not aware that 'being a communist' warranted being thrown in jail in the United States of America. You'll have to try harder little boy.
As to Social Security. Perhaps you could provide a link to the criminal statute that declares it a crime to oppose the policy initiatives of the Republican party. I'm not aware of them.
Free up funds needed for the war in Iraq? How exactly is that going to happen under Bush's non-plan to alter Social Security? Bush's non-plan requires billions of additional borrowing to cover the short fall in SS funding that would result from the diversion of funds into private accounts. That's more borrowing that will directly compete with the capital that is now being borrowed to fund George's Excellent Off-budget War. Of course this is all beside the point because voting to deny funding for George's War is not a crime either.
Got any other reasons we should throw Reid in jail Al.
Posted by at August 2, 2005 06:22 AM"I just want to point out that no one ever refuted my arguments about Reid. All you could do was give me abuse." Posted by Al
Well Al, you still have not answered my question on the reasons you see SS as a communist program. All you are doing is ignoring my question.
Posted by Judith at August 2, 2005 06:42 AMOh God, please please send us some bright trolls so we can actually have an intelligent exchange of thoughts. I am soooooo tired of stupid trolls throwing out ridiculous statemtents without a single rationale thought behind them.
Posted by Judith at August 2, 2005 06:50 AMAl is almost amusing in a predictable sort of way. I would be more amused if he didn't make me ponder how American education could fail so badly. OTOH, he probabally didn't pay much attention in school and now listens to too much talk radio without critical thinking skills.
Yeah, that's it.
