Comments: Desperation Nation

Pessimist,

You start by quoting Cheney saying that both Republican and Democrat administrations failed to address terrorism, then claim Republicans run from any facts that hurt their party.

I know it’s early out there, but you are totally incoherent.

Get some coffee, rethink your position and get back to us.

Reichfuhrer Cheney's argument is chilling, as it shows Bushco is so committed to their current insane War on Terror policies that they are willing to impugn the reputation of St. Ronaldus the Communicator Maximus.

I saw the Condi thing a while back; hilarious. But she should be checking out her prospects since Georgie has chosen a new mommy this week.

It wasn't that long ago that Bush was wrapping himself in the Reagan legacy blanket.

Clearly, the conservatives are not happen with Bush at the moment. However, since Bush doesn't read polls or listen to his Party, it makes no difference how dissatisfied they are.

When George Will tells his readers that there is no reason to trust George Walker Bush, hell has just froze over.

"He has neither the inclination nor the ability to make sophisticated judgments about competing approaches to construing the Constitution. Few presidents acquire such abilities in the course of their pre-presidential careers, and this president particularly is not disposed to such reflections."

The hearings on her nomination will be of great interest. I'm not a betting person, but there is the possibility that Bush just may not get Miers a seat on the Supreme Court, and it will not be the Democrats that stop her confirmation.

And to think that it took George Will five years to figure out that Bush is unable to make sophisticated judgments! It was emphatically apparent Bush was incapable of of rudimentary intellectual analysis during the 2000 election and especially during the debates with Gore. And yet it took George Will five years to this figure out? What a schmuck.

Although Rush is none too happy with Miers, and has voiced that over and over again, he does suggest that maybe she is a Trojan Horse.

"We don't know, but she could be the best thing that ever happens to the Supreme Court for all we know, and he's looking at this: "I want to change that court. To hell with the liberals and the way they're ruining this country." He's never going to say that, but he knows it. Put somebody on the court that they can't possibly defeat. In fact, give them somebody that they even asked for. Sort of like a Trojan horse is largely my thinking on this here." Rush goes on to say that the nomination is from a position of weakness and not strength.

For those few Democrats who are having a love fest with Miers right now (or pretending to), it's working. People like Rush dislike Miers nomination because a few Democrats like the choice, and that one fact alone is driving them crazy. However, when Bush says "trust me", you can be damn sure he knows something we don't.

George Will figured out that Glorious Leader was incapable of intellectual analysis during the 2000 campaign, when all rational Americans did.

Will just didn't ACKNOWLEDGE it until today, which demonstrates (yet again) his own intellectual dishonesty.

Well, Pat Robertson supports Miers. God Almighty, please take the scales from their eyes.
