Comments: Flip-Flop, Gyp-GOP

As I said in the open thread, I know you can't discriminate against someone based on their religion, but I really think that anyone who takes the bible literally (and I'm not sure if she does or not) has shown their inability to apply sound reasoning and logic. I think that should disqualify someone from being a judge.

And evangelicals believe they should convert everyone to Christianity and make the world the way God supposedly wants it. I think that's a conflict of interest with being a SC justice. Perhaps she would have to recuse herself from all cases having to do with homosexuality, abortion, capital punishment etc, since there would be this conflict of interest between her job as a justice and her "job" to serve God, which I do believe they see as a full time job, not something you can set aside in order to rule based on the laws of man.

Seems the administration did a flip flop on El Baradei and the IAEA too.

Rice gave El Baradei and the IAEA her hearty congratulations today. Sentiments echoed by John Bolton.

Hey. No hard feelings. Right?

Now if I could only hear such sentiments from Dick Cheney it would be the perfect Friday.
