Comments: Terror Warning Withheld Until Yesterday By Washington

"Together, we've killed or captured nearly all of those directly responsible for the September the 11th attacks." uh,you moron, they were in the airplanes when they blew up. I'd hardly say that was a direct result of Bush actions. Well, on second thought, maybe it was....

This also came at a time when the President claimed that we have thwarted ten serious terrorist threats...not that they have all been confirmed...and one was Jose Padilla....but I bet the others included things like thwarting PETA activists.

(misquote) "tyrants or would be tyrants use murder as an excuse to further their goals, aims.."

Don't you hate people who talk in the third person!!:)

It looks like yesterday's 'Terrah' alert was bogus!

And yet the color-coded terror alert wasn't raised.

Pentagon getting into the act too (with all their past dubious assertions and credibility never ever mentioned/questioned by reporters here..sigh...why can't we have a better media?). Yes The Pentagon gets letters from the terrorists.

Oh yes, something tells me we, with Karen Hughes at the helm, replacing the distracted and hopefully soon to be indicted Rove, have just started the new season of Return of the Terra President 24/7.

I bet Bush thought things were going to break with Fitzgerald & needed a distraction. Oops, seems like Mr Fitz has seen this play before...
Monday morning would be ideal.

Newsday does a pretty good job reporting, but why oh why, do reporters and, I add, Democrats, TRUST these criminals?

Anybody see a basis for that trust?

The only thing I trust these criminals to do is lie and steal.

CNN reporting that the Washngton Monument has been evacuated.

Probably just another soda bottle.

People are a bit edgy today.

I'll get worried when George pulls out his favorite book - My Pet Goat!

another "success story" was the capture of ayman ferris, who had planned to bring down the brooklyn bridge by using acid to dissolve the cables. a real threat, that one.

Has anyone noticed that threats coming out of the WH Administration are hardly causing a ripple anymore? Bush cried wolf once to often.

Bloomberg is running for re-election. That explains a lot, I suppose. Certainly explains those photo ops on the subway today. Come on, a credible terror threat and the mayor of NYC is out meeting the citizens?
