Here's a link for youse this morning:

Madame President vs. Commander in Chief

Last year I published a novel - Madame President: The Unauthorized Biography of the First First Women President & member of the Green Party. While I have been struck by some time by the similarity of my book to Geena Davis' new television show Commander in Chief, what is particularly striking is not only that Davis' character is an independent (e.g., such as a Green), but that both the book and the the show starts with a human crisis situation in Nigeria.

Actually several details are changed, but such skimming of ideas and changing the important parts would follow in the Hollywood tradition.

Either way, Commander in Chief sucks.

Decided to visit here once again, expecting joy and happiness. Delay has been indicted. Rove will be indicted this week. Conservatives are fighting over the Miers SPC nomination. The liberal news media is in such a feeding frenzy, they slobber all over themselves when they talk. Maureen Dowd is tearing Bush a new asshole daily in her column. Nancy Pelosi is flexing her muscles and mouth like an 800 lb Gorilla. The country is going to hell in a handbasket. Well, who gives a shit, we still have the world series and pro football and the inane and stupid T.V. programs.

The Iraqi informant who leaked word of the NYC subway plot has admitted it was a hoax. Fab, now they're just fucking with us.

Don't you get embarrassed for those old fucks who sit in the corner and babble about nothing while the piss runs down their legs? Sad, old man, just sad.

Ann, where'd you read that? Are we at all surprised? They're fucking with us, as they laugh at our stupid, keystone kops leadership.

That was on CNN. Steve's post goes into it further.
