Comments: Conservatives Start Fighting Each Other

That motly coalition was bound to come apart at some point.

Point reached.

Well, it had to happen sooner or later. I just didn't expect it to be this much fun to watch.

Actually, if the GOP wants to take out Andy Card, by all means go ahead. Card is a dimwit and a flunkie of the highest calibre, basically Micheal Brown with a higher office. Not a guy you want advising the president on matters, especially someone who relies on his aides so much as the Clueless in Chief does.

"Think tank" in Texass?? Boy, that's sure an oxymoron.

And on the other side of the happy fence, the black leaders at the Million More March were calling for a new political party in the US, consisting only of blacks.

Bush has a great affinity and respect for "dimwits and a flunkies of the highest calibre", as he has only reached "dimwit and flunkie of the lowest calibre" in his quest for Operating Thetan. The truly sick bastards at the WH have been looking for someone to blame for both Plamegate and the recent comedy of errors. Looks like Libby and Card are expendable, though with a pardon and platinum wank-off.

I made the great mistake of reading "Bush on the Couch" (a psychoanalysis of the Great Orifice) before bed, and holy crap, did I have bizarre nightmares! Worse than cheese sandwiches and scotch.

at the risk of being told to 'get over it,' it sure seems like there's a lot of Repubican dirty work going on in Ohio--Noe, Ney, Blackwell and Diebold--where there's smoke, there's fire...

Muck, no problem. The American Party of Cretinous Public Accountants and Money Worshippers started up in late July. Annual fees are tax-deductable, but coffee, sadly, is not.

"Conservatives have decided that the problem isn’t with Bush himself, but with the staff around him."

Well, guess what? That IS having a problem with Bush. He can hire and fire them at will. They're hand picked henchmen, nothing more. (I'll let you speculate on who is doing the hand picking)

NBC News reports from an ankle deep flood? video | story

madison1964,

What aspect of the actual flood did NBC stage?

Was there no flooding in New Jersey last week?

Still chewing the paint chips eh?

Posted by snark at October 18, 2005 12:39 PM

Yeah, they showed that clip on The Daily Show last night. The reporter defended herself, saying that "they" (whoever that is) wouldn't let her row around the deep parts of the flood out of safety concerns.

Still another example of how the profit-driven MSM is a miserable failure.

I saw this...it was hilarious. They didn't stage the flood, there was some serious flooding on the screen. But they had this digbat reporter in a canoe, who didn't really know how to handle the boat, rowing around in less than a foot of water. You couldn't tell how deep it was until a couple of guys walked right in front of her boat. And Duke's right, she claimed "they" wouldn't let her go in the deep water because the current was too strong.
