Comments: Andrea Mitchell Continues To Lie About Joe Wilson, As If She Was On The Payroll

she's married to a total shill for the GOP..what do you think she'd say about Wilson?

Posted by T2 at October 19, 2005 02:33 PM

Well, as mucky has told us, her hubby's going to be out of a job soon, so she needs to bring home the bacon now. I hear the Bushies pay well for loyalty.

Someone should get around to TBoggs and tell him to fire up the CheneyMaster 3000(tm)Defibrillator and Bacon Frier-it looks like the Veep will need that sucker at his bedside.

I am beginning to wonder if anyone in the MSM is truthful and not on the WH payroll. I am hearing/seeing fucking nothing about Plamegate on the news. For months the American public had every detail of Clinton's escapade crammed down their throat, whether they wanted to hear about it or not. Now, silence. Bastard, all of them, bastards.

(Thanks for letting me rant)

Posted by Judith at October 19, 2005 04:04 PM

Not at all, Judith, I was thinking the same thing all day.

There's nothing at the nyt's, wapo or the ap wire. The story rages on the blogs but is as limp as my...I mean, there's nothing out there on it in Conventional Kiss Ass to Republican Media.

Crickets. We all know why, they sold the war for lies with glee and it's soon time to pay up. No one skates from something like this, not with 2,000 dead and 10,000 wounded. Of ours.

They can stay silent all they want, we know the truth. Our journalism corps is nothing but a bunch of filthy lying propagandists. The blood of our dead and of the Iraqis is on their hands.

Sex sells. I've been following all this pretty closely and I'm starting to get lost in the details of the underlings and memos and who said what to whom. The Clinton thing was much simpler. Sex, blue dress, DNA.

Is anyone worried that Fitzgerald will weigh the evidence and decide that getting a conviction is far from a sure thing and that indicting half the administration doesn't outweigh the damage that would be done to this country in a time of war? Don't get me wrong--I want them all to go to jail, especially Rove. But it would be a huge distraction--look how it affected the country during peacetime with Clinton. Nothing got done. If he's not sure of getting a conviction, might he just bag the whole thing and close up shop with no report? I shudder at the thought.

you must read Andrea's book.

She is not quite the same criminal as her husband but is part of the inner circle with Cheney and all the right wing nuts.

How anyone can treat her as a serious journalist is beyond me.

COUNT ONE: THE COMMON PLAN OR CONSPIRACY

III. Statement of the Offense
All the defendants, with divers other persons, during a period of years preceding 8 May 1945, participated as leaders, organizers, instigators, or accomplices in the formulation or execution of a common plan or conspiracy to commit, or which involved the commission of, Crimes against Peace, War Crimes, and Crimes against Humanity, as defined in the Charter of this Tribunal, and, in accordance with the provisions of the Charter, are individually responsible for their own acts and for all acts committed by any persons in the execution of such plan or conspiracy. The common plan or conspiracy embraced the commission of Crimes against Peace, in that the defendants planned, prepared, initiated, and waged wars of aggression, which were also wars in violation of international treaties, agreements, or assurances.

Paradox, thanks.

CG, I have only allowed myself to consider that possibility a couple of times. What I want to know is if that were to happen, how would we react or handle an outcome such as you suggested?

Posted by Judith at October 19, 2005 04:52 PM

Was it last night that Matthews asked Mitchell what she thought Libby's poetic little aside in his letter to Miller meant and she pulled her punch? Even I think the "turning aspens" thing is a threat. WTF? Memorable as hell, though.

Tweedy was on his Hardball soft-pedaling the "they didn't know she was covert" party line. This guy is sharp. He pretends to ask "hardball questions" but slips the subliminal (for the GOPers) message in. I.E., no crime here, just tough politics. B.S. , buddy.

React or handle? Watch the reality in front of us.

The Democrats, weak and defeated, are mute in the face of the propaganda machine--until they are sure it won't trun on them they will do nothing. Watching these filth fabricate the propaganda from an event like Paul Wellstone's funeral would make any politicina nuerotically cautious. Why do you think Gore was such a terrible campaigner? He could not tell the truth and yet be called a liar, so he didn't know what to do.

With the freaks in control of everything, the press and democrats emasculated, well, what the fuck does one expect? Tax cuts for the wealthy. Insane debt and energy policy. No progression anywhere, terrible regression environmentally. The bill of rights in tatters.

We have beaten off the freaks before and always recovered. This time is different, I keep telling anyone who will listen. Recovery is not always a garauntee, all right? Sometimes countries get down and never make it back. Think Argentina.

You want your country back? Hell, can you get it back?

Such is our reaction: near helpless watching as it all comes tunbling down. We've lost huge chnnks of the middle class and our future to debt already. We can't bilogically sustain oursleves. We asre in a useless war for lies that could conflagrate out of control. We're fucked if we don't seriously change.

Pray that the media can tell the truth again. It's the only place to start, and we are all lost without it.

Posted by paradox at October 19, 2005 06:40 PM

paradox, we are the media now. Don't you know?

Posted by iamcoyote at October 19, 2005 06:58 PM

Mitchell is a government shill and not be taken seriously as a journalist.

Posted by brisa at October 19, 2005 07:15 PM

Plus, she looks like a fucking bird. I always wait for her to start pecking.

Posted by thunderhawk at October 19, 2005 07:16 PM

Paradox,

I'm feeling you!!! I think there are answers, a plan and a strategy.

The question is:

Will enough people pull their heads out of their rectums long enough to pay attention?

Posted by smooth at October 19, 2005 07:20 PM

Man Paradox, you nailed it! We do have a long recovery ahead! Can we survive? 3 more years of the raping to come! Please, people wake the fuck up!!!

Posted by bbtb at October 19, 2005 07:41 PM

Good observations, I'd like to argue with them, but I can't. Argentina is an apt compairison. Yes, we are the media, if it weren't for the internet, it would be hopeless.

These people are all from the same social class and in the same social set. These media whores attend the same Georgetown cocktail parties as the members of the Bush Administration. Naturally, they cannot accept the evidence of wrongdoing for their "friends" nor can they bring themselves to speak ill of them because they will meet socially month after month. They are like the Kool Kids in a high school clique. The Clintons were never part of that crowd, and paid the price for being on the outside.
I have been calling these clowns out on their misrepresentations for years. They never admit their misstatements, errors, bias, or partisanship. They just keep lying and lying night after night. Since I despise them, I'll keep calling them on it. The American media is among the world's worst because they identify with the ruling class not the ruled.

paradox ; The Democrats, weak and defeated, are mute in the face of the propaganda machine.
They are not as they cannot get the new media to show up at anything they asked then.
Andrea? Marry to Greenspan? Another one who marry a man to old to put it up! I think of Nicole what’s her name!
Today on free speech TV I saw the difference corporate media and C-span about the march with Cindy Sheean march for the peace movement. CNN showed a few people and gave it 2 minutes on the news while C-span did give a better account of the 200.000+ there. There was also during the day a young ex-soldier talking about is tour in Iraq. As an American who grow up mostly in Egypt from American civil service family, was most critical of what was happening in Abu Graib. I wish you all could see his remarks. Most tapes can be see on they site at free speech TV.

throw in a monica on her knees into this plame mess and the whole shebang would have been broadcast 24/7 by the msm a couple of years ago..it sells ..they're all whores ..plain and simple..and they all jumped on the 9/11 fear band wagon along with this entire administration and lied us into a war that has ruined tens of thousands of people..and for what?

Posted by dennis at October 20, 2005 03:13 AM

Last time I paid attention to Mrs. Greenspan:

She was breathlessly reporting how "sources" in the new George W. Bush administration revealed that Clinton White House staffers vandalized the White House and stole glasswear and towels from AF1.

She never offered a retraction or an explanation, even after the stories were debunked.
