Josh could have saved himself some time by linking to you! But he did start the ball rolling a couple years ago, so we'll let it slide.
Posted by iamcoyote at October 25, 2005 04:44 PMMan,
When you do this stuff, I need a couple of hours just to keep up with one post! Good stuff.
I've said this earlier, but I think Josh knows more than he lets on. One reason is keeping his cachet as a "responsible" reporter/journalist, another is his preference for releasing things in managable sound bites...
Posted by JC at October 25, 2005 05:40 PMI have sent Josh a link to my posts...
Posted by eriposte at October 25, 2005 05:44 PMIt's clear--very clear--that Josh has sources on this issue. He has still been slow to come to the conclusions that eriposte has divined simply through application of rigorous reading of open source material, and the application of heavy doses of logic.
Good scoop, e.

Isn't Rove responsible for all forgeries? I thought that was his area.
Posted by ann at October 25, 2005 07:16 PMOT. From Huffingtonpost:
An uber-insider source has just reported the following to TWN:
1. 1-5 indictments are being issued. The source feels that it will be towards the higher end.
2. The targets of indictment have already received their letters.
3. The indictments will be sealed indictments and "filed" tomorrow.
4. A press conference is being scheduled for Thursday.
Posted by Judith at October 25, 2005 07:18 PMYour good
Posted by Bill at October 25, 2005 07:32 PMwho wanted war with Iraq most? PNAC/Cheney or Bush (he tried to kill my daddy)? Pretty good chance that Bush and Cheney conspired to do all the bad stuff we are now speculating on. Face facts, between Bush and Cheney, there have never been two more evil and stupid (mix the order) guys in charge of our bombs. Would these two lie to get what they wanted?? Well, duh, that had defined BOTH their lives. They are the ultimate crooks and liars.
Posted by T2 at October 25, 2005 07:37 PMMERRY FITZMAS TO ALL. SANTA IS COMING TO BRING US SOME GOODIES.
Posted by Judith at October 25, 2005 07:40 PMAnd I made sure Laura Rozen had a link to your posts (particularly about evidence CIA knew the fogeries were bunk before they got them).
But I'm glad you made that point again. Precisely what I was thinking.
Posted by emptywheel at October 25, 2005 09:42 PMHadley...Hadley...hmmm...Isn't Ahmed Chalabi winging into town to have a talk with Hadley? Didn't I read that somewhere? Am I crazy? Seems rather curious timing, eh?
Posted by Garbo at October 25, 2005 09:47 PMThis administration is so corrupt, most of us know that! But the rest of our government is as bad. The laws that have come out of those crooks in powers have demonstrated how self serving SOB”s our representatives are. Like Scott Ritter and Seymour Hersh mentioned on C-span last week was that these Asses that are put in power are re-elected because no one care enough to know what they are doing. It is so sad that we put them back and back in power time after time without looking of what they are doing. Mostly are because the people in their district are working low hour and does not have any time left. It should be a law that “WETHE PEOPLE” force our congress to have all time limits. I also believe that the Supreme Court should also have a limited time 15 years is enough. An 80 years old person does not change is mind .In 1776 there was a little numbers living that long. I also believe that the delegates system should be abolished. It was OK when you have to send to Philadelphia on Horses to get the result but today, having telephone and internet it does look crazy, especially while I saw the Ohio caucuses in 2004, that is when I realize it was out fashion and out of the 21 century. The constitution was written over 200 years ago! While all the bush nuts are happy about the Iraqi constitution pass women in Iraq rights has gone back 1000 years. The Iraqi hate us now and wants us to leave. Will it brings tranquility in that country? That is still in question.
CAN YOU IMAGINE WORKING FOR A COMPANY THAT HAS LITTLE MORE THAN 500 EMPLOYEES
AND HAS THE FOLLOWING STATISTICS:
29 Have been accused of spousal abuse
7 Have been arrested for fraud, probably 8 with the new guy
19 Have been accused of writing bad checks
117 Have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 Have done time for assault
71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 Have been arrested on drug-related causes
8 Have been arrested for shoplifting
21 are currently defendants in law suits
84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last few years
Can you guess who this organization is?
Give up yet??
It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group that crank out hundreds of laws each year designed to KEEP THE REST OF US IN LINE...ha.
Interesting once again. Hadley.... wasn't he the "fall guy" for those 16 words? But Junior said no need to resign....what's a little "overlooking forgery" to start a war.
Posted by emal at October 26, 2005 04:41 AMHadley was the guy that prevented the report about what Joe Wilson found from "bubbling up" to higher levels. After he fell on his sword, he was promoted when Condi became SecState.
Posted by iamcoyote at October 26, 2005 05:49 AMNot stupid, your kidding, right? I cannot believe what I am reading. And this is the group who were going to restore civility and morale values to the Government and the WH.
Posted by Judith at October 26, 2005 06:13 AMRedstate.org is saying that the rumor mill has Rove not getting indicted. Let's hope the rumors they're hearing are wrong. If only people like Hannah, who no one's ever heard of, are indicted, it won't help bring the republicans down.
Posted by CG at October 26, 2005 06:14 AMIf Rove survives, Bush survives. I doubt very seriously that anyone knows anything for sure right now, including whether or not Rove will be indicted. Sounds like wishful thinking by the Red Staters.
Posted by Judith at October 26, 2005 06:30 AMFitzgerald interviewed Plames neighbor last night, and the response was:
"They just asked me if I knew what my neighbor (Plame) did before it came out in the press," Marc Lefkowitz told Reuters. Lefkowitz said he told them he did not know."
