Comments: Not Today - But A New Office Lease Though

Regardless of whether the current grand jury is extended, or a new one empaneled, there are probably 3-4 indictments under seal as we type. It reminds me of when my grandparents used to give me treasury bonds for Christmas.

Steve
It's not going to go on very long if we are just waiting for Bush to do something stupid.

Hey Ron,

Would that be similar to when he did stupid stuff like win 2 elections and help his party increase it's control in Congress. Yeah, I hope he does more stupid stuff too.

It amazes me how you guys are sucked in by the media time and time again. How many times is the MSM gonna screw you guys before you wake up!!!

No one has ANY idea what Fitzgerald is going to do.

Bush has already done lots of stupid, illegal, things. The question on the table is just how far back in the jail his bunch will be stuffed. If not today, tomorrow, if not then, next week, next year, three years from now. 2000 is a number that's hard to hide, the lies are so visible, as are the liars. That is the Real Truth.

Dammit, if I was runnin' that grand jury you bet your bottom dollar I'd have some indictments against that Bush mob by now, a whole slew of 'em, even if I had to get me another jury!

Posted by Ronnie Earle at October 26, 2005 06:18 PM

Or another judge, by golly!

Posted by the hammer at October 26, 2005 06:30 PM

"The New York Sun reported today that Fitzgerald spent the lunch hour with the chief judge today." AhA! I have the scoop! Since the Judge had the chicken and Fitz Had the salmon that clearly indicates they are going to indict Chuck Schumer because his initials are CS. Also they didn’t have dessert so that means they were planning to stay up ate counting the Republicans they plan to round up the next morning. I called Fitz’s office and got told “NEVER to call here again.” But I guess I have to know the secret LLL password to get the office staff to let me in on the all the secrets that you all seem to get. Here are the only FACTS we know about: Fitz presented the findings to the Grand Jury today. Everything other than that fact is just pure speculation.

bagley,

Natural monopoly, not the home game, LOL, the economic version. (Though I guess it's possible to lose your shirt either way!)

Judith,

Good point. It was during Reagan's presidency that de-regulation went beyond competitive industries like trucking where it did good by encouraging lower prices and into natural monopolies like railroads, telecommunications and airlines where it has been a disaster.

Oops, the above belongs on the open thread.

Well you all can lay awake tonight with visions of Karl and Dick and indictments dancing in your bitter heads.

Tomorrow you may get your wishes. Or not.

Regardless, I'm sure the left - having lost the war of ideas - will keep trying to prosecute the Right.

Posted by Hindu at October 26, 2005 08:44 PM

The war of ideas? Hmmmm. What ideas have this Republican congress and administration have to hide behind? Fucking idiot!

Posted by Defending the U.S. at October 26, 2005 09:00 PM

Actually, the Republicans seem to have one big idea lately, a very popular one. It's the same idea that causes many Americans to drown themselves in credit card debt. It's the idea that you can spend all you want and make minimal payments, by just borrowing more and more.

Excuse me, but what planet are you on? From the beginning this has been a blog-centric scandal. In fact one of the big issues in this story is the abject failure of the mainstream media, who have only very recently started to report on it.

The Real Truth

THE GAO CONFIRMS THAT THE 2004 ELECTION INVOLVED FRAUD. What's that about winning two elections?
