TREASONGATE: Is David Corn Feeling Fitzgerald's Heat?
Did David Corn publish intentionally misleading quotations from Fitzgerald's press conference?
Boycott Dominos Pizza and call their corporate headquarters at 800-468-4726 and make the demand that George W Bush withdraw the nomination of Samuel Alito and nominate a moderate to the Supreme Court or that you will boycott Dominos pizza. Dominos pizza CEO David Brandon supports the antiabortion movement. Pass the word.
It appears time for an economic revolt against the companies that fund George W Bush and the Republican Party. Go call and email these companies and tell them you have had enough of the actions of the Republican Party and you will not take it anymore.

Posted by at November 1, 2005 08:37 AMthe Newsweek piece was an incomprehensible pile of shit which fails to explain (1) that emails can be FAKED and unless this mail has been matched off the server cache, it is probably a FORGERY -- which is a specialty of this white house.
No little email could possiblly have exonerated der shrubenfhurer's right hand man so this is NOT the whole story.
I believe this email "vindication" adds yet another NAIL to Rove's coffin, he just doesn't realize it. When it is exposed as the fraud that it is, THEN you'll see some shit.
THIS AINT GOIN AWAY.

Posted by ann at November 1, 2005 08:44 AMThe Fitzgerald Pause ---
Wonder what would give him pause? Some bloggers have speculated that he would - given his diligence - take time out to review any argument made by Rove about his forgetfulness. This makes sense.
But another possibility: what if Rove offered up something? Or somebody? A clue - for Fitzgerald to follow. Something like: "Go see "X" and "Y". They can shed light on what Mr. Big was doing or saying ...."
That way, Rove is helping the investigation, not hindering it. Earning "capital" with the Prosecutor.
Anyone know if Fitzgerald has been questioning others since the Rovian Pause moment?

You go Kristof.

isn't that how this all began?

No.
In fact Libby required that his comments be attributed not to "an anonymous senior administration official" but to a "former Hill staffer".
He wasn't just looking for aninimity he was actively using Judy Miller to spreading misinformation.
Again.
Why?
If he didn't think there was a problem discussing Wilson and his wife why the obfuscation? Why the lies?
Posted by muckcat at November 1, 2005 11:42 AMKarl Rove announced at lunch today that he is leaving the WH to become a druid. When asked why he would do that, he responded "it's a tax deduction." Rumour has it that President Bush has short-listed Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton for the vacant position. Unfortunately, neither were sober enough to comment.
