What is the one thing that could happen to change Bush's fortunes? Seems to me another "terrorist" attack within our borders would do the trick. It would have to be big, splashy, lots of good photo ops like the Towers. Maybe the SF Gate Bridge dropping into the bay. Bush could time it for about 2 hours after Rove's resignation.

Ann, wow. I never knew Delay was such a...a...wacko. Teaching evolution caused Columbine. That's a new one.

Steve, not a good idea. The Golden Gate falling into the SF Bay would only reinforce the fact that we are not safe at all, thanks to Bush. A year ago, before Katrina, he could have gotten away with it, but not now. The moment has passed.

I wish someone would wipe that smile of DeLay's face. How many face lifts has he had?

Posted by Judith at November 2, 2005 03:20 PM

Judith, That is not a smile...that is the gerbil in his ass making him look like that!!

Thanks for those quotes Ann. I nearly laughed before realizing that you were telling a horror story.
