Fascinating, eriposte. I'm wondering - how credible is the series of stories in La Repubblica? Are they useful in filling in some of the holes?
Posted by iamcoyote at November 3, 2005 07:42 AMYes, the La Repubblica stories were useful. Not everything they have claimed is correct, but some important details appear to be right.
Posted by eriposte at November 3, 2005 07:46 AMOver at Arianna, she points out Sept 8, 2002 as a date that Chris Matthews is scrutinizing for the Judy Miller tube story. Over at Talking Points Memo, Josh points at Sept 9, 2002 as a Pollari/Hadley meeeting re: Niger. Did they find the tube story was not resonating on the talkshows and seek a second front with Niger the next day?
Posted by whenwego at November 3, 2005 07:58 AMGood to know, thanks. I wasn't sure how much stock I should put in the stories, but at least they provide a new angle to pursue. Thanks for your tireless research!
