Comments: Treasongate: La Repubblica picks up Left Coaster finding on Niger forgeries

I would not call The Left Coaster a "radical" blog as La Repubblica seems to have (:-))

Perhaps they meant "rad," and it got lost in translation.

I'm with ya, dude

DJ,

Let's just say that if TLC is "radicale" then we are part of the 55-60% of people in this country who are :-)

Posted by eriposte at November 13, 2005 10:48 AM

About time this started getting some attention. :)

All being radical means is to desire to get to the root of the problem as opposed to taking a "band aid" approach. The very fact that little boots is president and at least one, if not both of his elections were stolen tells me that there's a lot of rot that needs rooting out. America's founding fathers were radicals, if we're all radicals then we're in good company.

eRiposte - congratulations. Your meticulous research is definitely adding to the total knowledge about this affair.

eriposte: Good job! International attention for your efforts. Not bad at all. :)

Now if we can just get to the bottom of the motivations. Anyone's bank balance get noticably larger in the time in question?

Now if we can just get to the bottom of the motivations. Did anyone's bank balance get noticably larger during the period in question, for instance?

Good work deserves recognition, (from La Repubblica and Democratic Senators) praise, and thanks(from me)....Way to go eRiposte!

Thanks to Nur Al-Cubicle for the translation.

And lastly, my kids will be the most surprised that I read and often spout to them the stuff I learn from this "radical" blog that is so cutting edge/ahead of the curve news....Whoda ever thunk it!!! Certainly not my kids ;~O

If you got rid of the dumbass posts from pessimist and some of the other left-wing hysteria around here your collective credibility would go up a mile.

Posted by Salami at November 13, 2005 02:33 PM

From the La Repubblica translation:

The attention of several Democratic Senators’ offices has been turned lately to the observations found in a little radical blog

Hey! Who are they calling "little"?

Rock on, eriposte - excellent job!

Are certain trolls posting to TLC without realizing it's a left wing blog? For wingnuttery, please see Power Line. For total insanity, please see the White House web page.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS ERIPOSTE. Job very well done indeed.

I love the ones who come on once and leave their critique, like any of us gives a sh*t.

Posted by Judith at November 13, 2005 03:37 PM

Congratulations! Thank you very much for the excellent work.

Radical. Too funny.

I don't deserve to paint eRiposte's little toe, much less be part of his blogging family. You do us much honor and service by your work, ER!

Radical: an extreme liberal in politics. I agree that is wrong. Just because here we believe that what Bush is doing is wrong does not make us radical. I am an independent because I do not to have my mind twisted by party line. I can think.

Congratulation eriposte. You would make a great reporter, alas this country need you so much.

eR, the link to Nur Al-Cubicle's translation (which was working a few hours ago) is now defunct. The article's been edited and the link changed to this.

Posted by KM at November 13, 2005 11:00 PM

Yeah, well, sorry. Guilty as charged. I didn't like the old title for the post. Good job, eR! Pinged by La Repubblica. That is the Number One Paper of Rome and very influential.

Posted by Nur al-Cubicle at November 14, 2005 12:47 AM

KM, thanks for the heads-up. I updated the link accordingly.

Posted by eriposte at November 14, 2005 05:52 AM

Yes, I would suggest that La Repubblica is paying The Left Coaster a little compliment, since most of European politics is much more liberal and progressive than that in the good ole USofA.
Carry on: the bush regime is in the final stages of total and complete collapse, any more revelations of corruption may send bunnypants back to Crawford, Texas in the first available donkey-cart.
Cheers,
James K. Sayre
